Sweet Revenge Bakery

Found this place through Unilocal and it is great! This small bakery is huge on sweets! Love the cupcakes and brownies! Customer service is awesome! My new go to place for desserts!

I love the idea of small businesses and how someone’s passion can be showcased in such a creative way. This bakery is amazing. It seems like such a small little bakery but every dessert packs it’s punch. My absolute favorites would have to be the chocolate chip cookie and the brownies. As a chocoholic it definitely satisfies my chocolatey tastebuds. Love this bakery! Everyone needs to try this!

Tried this little bakery today and fell in love!!! Customer service was excellent !! Tried the brownie, red velvet cupcake and macaroons. So delicious best I’ve had. The banana pudding sample has me wanting to go back.

Our first time to visit and it will not be our last! It’s tough to be married to a baker and have send you out for a cupcake! Sweet Revenge was an Outstanding find! We had a small sample of several of the treats. Carrot cake cupcake, lemon cake, cannoli and macaroons! My wife LOVED them all! Thank you Sweet Revenge for our afternoon sweet! A must try for everyone!

Went in for the first time today to satisfy a sweet tooth. I looked up bakeries on Unilocal and saw this one was only a block away. I got a Tres Leche cake that came in a little cup the size of a cupcake, an Oreo cup cake, and 2 slices of a lemon cake. They were delicious! I’m in trouble, like I said it’s only a block away!

I’ve been here a couple of times and so far have had great service, which is saying something for this area. I grew up in the South Bay, so I can say that. :OP
So far, I’ve liked everything I’ve tried. They have these waffles, topped with whipped cream, strawberries and a brownie and it was delicious. I ate mine the next morning, for breakfast and it still tasted good. The vignettes are also very good and so are the cupcakes.
They have a nice variety of items, but not a huge selection. It’s a very, very small shop, but worth the visit and the prices are fair. Aside from the items I’ve mentioned, they also make fruit tarts (I’m getting one next time), cheesecake (also sold by the slice and I’m adding this to one of my future visits), macaroons, 3 types of vignettes (nutella, raspberry and cream filled), brownies (generous size), cupcakes, red velvet chocolate chip cookies with cream in between them (imagine a sandwich cookie) and stuffed cannolis (spelling?). This is just what I remember, so I might have left something off.
The only thing I didn’t like was that the treats were cold because I guess the display they’re in is also refrigerated. Not a big deal at all and I’m so glad to have this little bakery in my neighborhood. I can’t wait to go back and try the other items they have. I don’t think anything is priced over $ 3.75, but I could be wrong.
Don’t be intimidated if you’re not from this area. Some people have a negative perception about this particular part of town because it’s not upscale and you might see some beggars or people sitting along the wall, but that’s more towards the donut shop and Jilbertos on the other end of the strip. Either way, just ignore them or smile at them. They won’t bother you unless it’s to ask for change.
Parking is accessible and if you’re lucky you can park right in front of the shop and be in and out. So if you’re ever here, stop by this little shop and get yourself a treat. :O)

This is literally my happy place! I absolutely love this bakery! Everything that I have tried from sweet revenge is delicious. We have ordered 3 birthday cakes and my friend got her wedding cake here, for every time we get a custom cake, Mariella (the baker and owner), always helps us out by giving us ideas and the result are always amazing! Mariella also always gives us great customer service, she is such an talented individual! Everything she bakes is great, so far my favorite treat has been the cheesecake fruit tart with hazelnut cream! Another great thing is that there’s always a variety of things, every time I go there’s something new I haven’t tried. Also the prices are very reasonable and high end quality. I will keep coming back to sweet revenge!
