Great place for frozen yogurt! The staff is always really nice and they have a great selection of yogurts and toppings. Most froyo places don’t stand a chance against Yogurtland, but this place definitely does.

The last couple of visits here have been so great, thanks to one of the workers Colina. My niece and nephew love coming here because she’s so friendly and there’s a little game area for them to play and enjoy their yogurt. I wish all the other workers here were as helpful as she is and maybe this store will get better reviews. The store is always neat and tidy. They have a good variety of toppings and they have a good flavor rotating system in place. You get your usual flavored and some special ones. My personal favorite is the mint flavored yogurt. This place also has a punch card unlike some other frozen yogurt spots so that’s a plus too, you eventually save some money but being a frequent customer!

This place sucks!!! No greetings from the workers. I had to beg for sample cups. This place charges an arm and leg for yogurt. The same portion we would get at yogurtland comparing to this place… 2 medium yogurt(not full) costs would be around $ 6 at yogurtland. This place came out to be close to $ 12. That’s double the costs and their choices of yogurt is so limited. Quite disappointed. We didn’t even bother with their stamp card.

Sweet things is a good place for froyo! It’s easy to get to, clean and comfortable. My wife and I have been coming here for years since we purchased our home and the quality has remained top notch for all the toppings and the frozen yogurt. The staff are friendly and once in a while you’ll run into Chargers Players that live in the affluent part of town. It’s always best to show up prior to close because there’s no lines and you can take your time selecting all the goodies to put in your cup. Remember to tip well as the staff are all students.

Sweet Things is the place to hit up on a day like today in the 90s. The customer service is hit or miss. Sometimes they are paying attention and sometimes you have to get their attention to get a taste cup. The cups are large like every other frozen yogurt place and I usually just fill up each cup to about 1⁄6 and let my girls put a little bit of add ons like a couple of gummy bears and sprinkles. I try to keep it less then 5 or 6 dollars. They have a reward card… buy 10 cups and get the next one free. My girls love to get it stamped. The other way to get a good deal is buy one of the high school discount cards for $ 20 bucks besides other discounts in the area they had buy one and the next one 50% off. I used that card every time we walked in.

This place is always kept clean. My kids love their selection of yogurt and also the games. Their punch cards always guarantee a free yogurt!

Scenery: Playful. Def good for kids and teens to hang out at. Comfortable couches and they have a mini Pacman machine. Definitely a family place and good music Yogurt: Not the best yogurt in town :(All their creamy flavors practically taste the same. Like for example, I got marshmallow, strawberry and graham cracker altogether and there was nothing distinct about each of their flavors. My sister got all the fruity flavors and still the same scenario. The yogurt melts fast and the topping counter isn’t labeled for convenience. Service: The girl who worked today was very nice and polite. Diggin the shirts they wear to work lol. Overall this yogurt shop is ok. But id rather drive somewhere else for my yogurt no offense :/

All of the selections are very sweet, I wish they carried just plain tart yogurt but I think this place is catered to the kids in the neighborhood.

The only reason why it’s not a 5 was due to flavor selection. This is a cute BRIGHT little spot. Very clean, props for that. And we loved the little chairs. Good yogurt and lovely customer service on this beautiful Sunday.

Excellent flavors! One of the best frozen yogurt shops I’ve been to. Great service. Great toppings. All machines are always working and they’re very clean here.

The kids always seem to want to come to sweet things after volleyball games. Sure, I’ll buy them 700 calories worth of sweets after they burned 300 calories. This is a typical froyo place with colorful décor and everything designed to attract kids and the young at heart. It’s a bit on the pricy side with $ 0.43 per ounce. You can get a decent yogurt cup for about $ 5, any less than that you will feel depressed afterward. This location carries about 10 flavors at a time(see photo) and they are all decent but nothing extraordinary. My favorite is the cookies and cream flavor. It’s definitely a hit with the kids waking back from school in this area. There is a subway next door, sushi on the rock, Starbucks and Chinese. It’s cute for what it is but I’ve had better froyo.

They had some good flavors and I was just«in that mood» for some froyo, but it was not the best place that I have ever been. One suggestion I’d make is to label the toppings. The so-called sprinkles I got today were actually not sprinkles, but something crunchy covered in chocolate. I really didn’t like the crunch. The staff was really nice, though!

YUM! Sweet things has some awesome flavors. Strawberry lemonade sorbet… So rich! Reese’s peanut butter cup? Another favorite. Love the selection here, they also have the option to mix two flavors that are side by side. They have awesome toppings, lots of different candies and treats to chose from. The girl working when I went in was extremely friendly and mentioned the punch card, make sure to get one if you think you’ll be stopping by multiple times!

San Diego has A LOT of choices for frozen yogurt so I tend to be fairly picky about it. That being said, Sweet Things is a great choice. The best thing about Sweet Things is the staff. I worked at an ice cream shop for years and I know how much work it can be to put a smile on for every customer but they really do that. I brought the little girl I babysit for and the young man working there was very sweet to her and didn’t blink an eyelash when she made a pretty big mess with the toys(we cleaned them up on our way out!). The cute shop is very colorful with toys and books and pictures on the wall. I recognized a bunch of my neighbors which was nice. The kids love it and it’s definitely a place to keep them entertained for a while. I also like the promo card(I think it’s buy 8, get one free) The biggest con for me is the cup size. I feel like it’s a huge waste to be using a giant cup for a tiny amount of yogurt. I know that it’s a marketing ploy to get you to buy more yogurt but it’s so bad for the environment :(The yogurt is pretty good but to be completely honest, I have had better in the area. It’s a little too sweet and could be a bit creamier. Not bad, though. Definitely a kid favorite.

I really wanted to be excited about this place… I really did. Everyone in our neighborhood thinks that they are great. But to be honest, their frozen yogurt isn’t that great. The toppings are sometimes stale too. The few times I’ve been there the froyo has ice crystals in it(that’s not supposed to happen). The flavors are alright… but they aren’t delicious. I really don’t like the paying by weight thing either. And I don’t like the fact that the cups are so huge. Why do all these froyo places do this now? I prefer to drive a little further to my fav place for amazing froyo, great fresh toppings and you pay by size of cup(and they are REASONABLY sized… not massively huge). If I have to go here because there’s a team gathering or something, fine. But I won’t suggest it as I think it’s overpriced for what you get.

I was very reluctant to go to do some team celebration at a frozen yogurt place(after all, there is always happy hours and lunches) but due to budget restrictions, that is how around 10 of my team mates and myself end up after lunch today. I think this is my second time going to one of these fairy tale shops, where everything is cute and adorable. This time was even better, I just could live inside this beautifully decorated store! I cannot believe even my outfit was completely matching every single pastel color on the walls and the bold orange and fuchsia in the seating areas. Who cares about the frozen yogurt when you have much visual stimuli? Not me! Actually, I am not that fan of these(kind of new to me) fashion. First of all, these buckets are gigantic and you pay by weight. Too many mixed flavors, too many calories and toppings miscellaneous that do not make sense to me. I would say you can pack 2000 calories by having one of those buckets. And what is really the difference between this and ice cream? I just don’t find any, at least in flavor(common flavors, not talking about the delicatessen of ice cream Italian gelatto style, for example). But, overall, I will just go again for a hint of sugar and get mesmerized by the abundance of colors.

I have been here on numerous occasions. Every time I come here I enjoy all the flavors and I am the one who loads up on the yogurt flavors instead of the toppings. PROS — lots of original flavors of yogurt & toppings — games for children — large seating area for the space but has outside seating — have entertainment coupon & buy 8 get one free promo card — they give back to the community(huge plus in my book) — always have a water bowl for the dogs outside CONS — parking, but it is in a busy shopping center so nothing they can do about it — the place echoes especially if children are screaming Even though this place is out of my way in location, I try to come here as often as I can. The other yogurt places can not compare. Definitely would recommend this place.

I am a regular customer here… I love the atmosphere and the staff is very friendly. My only complaint is about the lack of reordering more of the toppings. I Noticed when they run out of certain toppings that I love, they don’t always restock them . it’s still a nice yogurt shop and a fun place to take your kids! I miss their cinnamon sauce !!!

I’ve been to Sweet Things just a couple times, and it’s very conveniently located 5 minutes from my house. However it is definitely not my favorite frozen yogurt in this area. The yogurt melts fast, the flavors aren’t the best, toppings aren’t labeled, and not a good variety of flavors are available. Also, I tried to use a coupon once and didn’t have it out right away and was searching through my wallet for it. He had already rung up the sale, and I asked if it was too late to use the coupon and he replied«Yeah, pretty much.» He also seemed very impatient as I was getting my yogurt, and I felt rushed. This was just one employee though, the others seem very friendly. Despite the negatives, the place has a fun theme and lots of good decorations. If given the choice, I would go somewhere farther with better yogurt.
