Not a good option for reliability or customer service! Simply a bad choice unless you enjoy working with an owner who is a total jerk and stoner employees who forget to finish jobs correctly. Personally I would stay away from this company altogether.

Swinson Electric came out to my home and installed a light fixture. Everything went perfectly. Very happy and would recommend their service.

Jack Solomon saved our remodel and gave the most professional service of any company I have ever dealt with. We were remodeling our retail store in the Westfield Plaza Bonita mall where mall management was trying to make it as difficult and expensive as they could for us. We were dealing with a Mother in intensive care and dying at the same time. He came over and met with the mall and provided them the insurance they demanded and dealt with them. He gave us a most reasonable written estimate and discussed everything in great detail with us including adding a few things that might come up and gave a cost if they did. On the day we closed to do the work, they showed up on time. Jack had gone every detail of the job with his electrician including taking pictures and drawing diagrams to tell them exactly what to do and instructing them not to make changes unless they called him to discuss it. He worked efficiently and was very pleasant and did a great job and saved us money any way he could. I would recommend this company to anyone. They are true old world professionals who treat people in a human and most respectful way instead of as $$$ signs. J. F. 11⁄2013

I’ve had Swinson Electric do jobs on two of my homes. One was a small house in Clairemont built in 1960 with only a 75 amp panel. We upgraded to a 200 amp panel and installed several ceiling lamps and a circuit for a new air conditioning system. They put the dishwasher, laundry machines, microwave and refrigerator all on separate circuits. Fer Castaneda did all the work with the help of a young intern. The job included stuffing himself into an extremely tight attic space with his face pushed into the insulation. He wouldn’t leave until everything was perfect. Care and commitment to excellence is certainly worth the little extra you might pay.
