Some of the cheapest Mexican food around. The quality is definitely not there. I always seem to get below average l service and the employees are never appreciative of my business when I go there. I’ve had numbers us orders messed up. I would not recommend this place to a friend. There are better Mexican food options around.

I don’t know how I feel about this place… I feel like everytime I wait in this drive thru for 20 minutes for some food that should take about 5 or 10 minutes, tops, I leave pissed off. 20 minutes wouldn’t even be that bad if I wasn’t there because I had a late night craving for a burrito. No one has ever said, «hey, honey… Wanna get Taco Fiesta for dinner tonight?» No that shit isn’t planned. It’s spur of the moment, and I want it quickly before my brain realizes what my body is about to do to itself and intervene. Not to mention the most awkwardly placed speed bump in the history of drive thrus. Why is that shit where my wheels go when I’m at the window?! So I have to either be in front of the speed bump and too far away from the window, over the bump and too far away, or revving my engine or braking on top of the bump to be where I can reach the window. But then I get home and the hot, greasy, fatty deliciousness of this food changes my mind in an instant. The egg, cheese and potato breakfast burrito with guacamole is like heaven fried in butter and wrapped in a tortilla. Quesadillas? Fire. Carne Asada Fries? Fire. And their rojo and verde sauces are perfect. If they could speed up the service in the drive thru and move that damn speed bump, I might actually plan to come here before midnight one day… Intentionally.

I live by this taco shop and like the food better then any others near by. Problem is almost every time I go they get my order wrong. I always get the same thing and it sounds pretty simple to me. Also the service is the worst. Not only do they never apologize but their rude like its my fault.

This place completely sucks. Service is friendly but their food is garbage almost as bad as MXN up the street.

Don’t order the chicken quesadilla if you do it will be soggy and made from soup. It’s gross and there is more chicken skin then actual chicken. Definitely not worth waiting 15 mins on my 30 min lunch break!

After many attempts to get a decent dinner here, we’ve come up with nothing but squat. Our chicken quesadilla was undercooked, resulting in food poisoning, the carne asada chips have become cheap and tasteless.

I’m into carne asada when it’s good. And the carne asada here is GOOOOOOD. I had the nachos last night. I was delighted to discover how tender and non-sinewy the beef nuggets atop my crispy chips were. My man had some tacos that lose a star for not being fried enough. They’ve been better on past visits. It’s clearly a little hit and miss here. But, we will be back to try again. And again, I’m sure.

So I can only speak to the drive thru as I hit this place up on the regular– yes I am the duchess of taco fiesta! I’ve had their veggie burritos, carne Asada and pollo Asada nachos deluxe, and breakfast burritos. Their food is pretty much what you would expect for a drive through taqueria– not amazing but not horrible! I actually really like their pollo Asada nachos they’re pretty salty but they pack that shiz up. It’s huge and easily gives me 2 meals so for 7.50 u can’t really beat that. Their breakfast burritos are pretty huge and tasty too filled with fries! I think their carne Asada could be better but again what do u expect for a drive through– ur not getting anything as huge for the price at any other drive thru. There is another Mexican drive thru like across the street which I have visited several times as well and I prefer this location.

This is better than Taco Bell but just as bad for you!!! Eat and baño! The wait isn’t as quick as they are making it all fresh. The prices are great! And this is why we come so often! It’s like 2 bean and cheese burritos for $ 5 or something. I always get the California burritos. It’s good but I want to say they put waaaaay too many onions! It overwhelms the rest of it. It’s on our street so it’s pretty easy to get there! Hard working people too. Huge menu! Always has a line, big or small. If you’re looking for a little taco shop, this is it.

Their carneasada or pollo afries are really good. They serve huge plate. Reason for the 3 stars is because you will ALWAYS have to ask for extra hot sauce if you decide to go through drive thru.

This place is slacking big time. Prices going up. Quality and quantity going down. Bean and cheese burritos with beans that look straight from the can. Cheese cold as can be, unmelted. Mostly tortilla. Service much slower now than before. What happened?

Exactly what I’m looking for when I want real comfort food. Great food and prices. Generous portions/sauces/toppings.

I’ve been coming here for years. I’d say since around 2005. I’ve always loved it. Good food and convenience. However, in the past year, things have gotten so bad I refuse to eat here anymore. That’s hard because I live right across the street from Taco Fiesta. I’ve noticed weird charges on my receipt– a few extra cents woven into the price. I’ve ignored it because I thought, «Its just a few cents.» Last week after a long beach day, all I wanted was a warm bean burrito. I pulled into the drive through and no one picked up on the receiver for around three minutes. At that point I was getting ready to back out and just go somewhere else, but the guy finally takes my order. I ordered a bean burrito and a bean a cheese burrito. I pull into the window and I probably wait around 5 minutes before the dude even takes my money. And the dude was disgusting. His teeth looked like they hadn’t been brushed in weeks. Still, I wait for my burritos. And wait. And wait. Really, its two bean burritos. Not that hard. I get home and guess what. THEY’RECOLDANDTHEYGOTTHEORDERWRONG. After thinking about that guys face and how little he probably washes his hands, I just threw it away. I’ve been meaning to give this place a bad review for awhile. Never again will I eat here.

It’s a shame when you go to a Taco Shop and order rolled tacos and can’t even bite into it

Obviously I’m here because of Carne asada fries! $ 7.50 and it can feeds a family of 4. Their guac is fresh! You can taste it’s not ‘store bought’. They are always quick, and most def. Friendly! Parking is tight, has about 3 – 4 stalls depending how big the other cars are the day you go, so consider drive thru. I do like dining in more since I like to eat food fresh and not having semi-cold food on the way home. The dining area has 3 good tables that seats 4 at each table I never had a problem dining in either. My only complaint is that they run out of Lime a lot! Sadly, this Taco Fiesta is NOT24HRS.

DELICIOUSROLLEDTACOS, ANDTHESHREDDEDBEEFBURRITOHADLEAN, DELICIOUSMEATINIT. Chips were crisp & fresh, and pico de gallo was very fresh & spicy. If you go at night, try to order from the smiling young woman, since the man who is cooking there does not speak English and comes across as pretty stupid.

Truthfully, Taco Fiesta is not the best Mexican food in San Diego but it’s close by mi casa and portions are HUGE! The Carne Asada Fries or the Pollo Asada Nachos are decent and easily weigh about 5lbs each! No joke, those to-go boxes are piled high with goodies so you definitely get the most bang for your buck. Unfortunately I’d recommend passing on the al pastor –which is a shame because I love al pastor. But the meat is pretty darn dry and too sweet. All and all, it’s good when you’re in a pinch for a late night run.

Day old fries– beef that tastes slightly off. Guacamole that tastes… like nothing? I give every taco shop one chance, but know to never pay this one a second. Quite possibly the worst carne asada fries I’ve ever had.

Alright, I’m gonna be honest here. The first couple times I got some grub here, I was not impressed; in fact, I was even a bit disappointed. Their chorizo burrito was great for the first couple bites and full of spice & flavor… but there was nothing else in the burrito, making it very overpowering. It could’ve used some veggies or beans or anything to create better balance. And whoa, was it greasy! The oil pooled towards the bottom of the burrito(which is expected, but it was just soaked in grease). Their fish burritos are fairly decent, especially for the price, and is something I’d definitely get again. Now, the thing to get though is their chicken CHIMICHANGA! It’s a fried burrito stuffed with tender shredded chicken drenched in an awesome sauce + guacamole, sour cream, and the veggie fixings on the side. Juicy meat, generous supply of sides, and a crispy fried tortilla? mmhmm yes please!
