Tara Hidden, CMT

Prior to beginning regular deep tissue massage treatments I was in pretty bad shape after several years of overseas work and travel. During my time overseas I had neglected my overall physical health and found that sports injuries from earlier in my life had become troublesome again on a daily basis. To compound matters, those old sports injuries contributed to other issues. My neck, shoulders, upper, mid and lower back, right hip and hamstring, both knees, both feet and both elbows had become so troublesome that I could no longer exercise with any regularity.
Then I was referred to Tara. Much to my delight and before my first massage treatment, Tara conducted an initial consultation similar to what a doctor would have with a new patient. We discussed my medical and injury history, what I wanted to achieve from massage treatments and how she felt she could help me. Afterward, I had my first 60-​minute deep tissue massage treatment and I immediately knew that I had found a CMT who could help me.
Over the course of the next four months I had a total of 16 deep tissue massage treatments and we gradually increased from 60-​minute to 90-​minute treatments along the way. By the end of this 4-​month period Tara had successfully reversed the effects of 10 to 12 years worth of sports injuries and stress related physical issues. From head to toe I felt stronger, more flexible and I was able to resume regular exercise without causing another injury or reaggravating an old one. I also returned to working and traveling overseas WITHOUT the physical pain and limitations I was experiencing prior to beginning massage treatments with Tara.
Needless to say, I could not recommend Tara more highly for occasional or regular massage treatments nor could I thank her enough for how much she helped me. She is very professional, genuinely cares for her clients and is highly knowledgeable in her field of expertise. She communicates clearly what treatment plan she recommends and why, and is always open to questions that she answers fully. Without a doubt, as soon as I get back home to the US from overseas I will call Tara to begin a new treatment plan.
