My husband and I have driven by the Africa Center a few times and were interested in stopping in. Last week we noticed they were having a sale and had items out front of the shop so we stopped to check it out.
Inside is rather small… but as many say, size does not matter. This place is packed with masks, paintings, sculptures, shields, and more from all around Africa. Many of the items have a small sign posted that tells you where they are from and what it is all about. The store owner is knowledgeable and hospitable.
We saw a few items that interested us so we will be going back.
