These folks are easy to work with, professional in their attitude and do a great job for a very reasonable price. Having them strip the many layers of paint off my 1926 built cupboard doors gave me hope that my kitchen can be restored without the headache of chemicals, dust and all the mess this would have entailed if I had attempted it myself. Thanks for being a business in San Diego!

I wish I could take the credit, but my husband found the Strip Shop. We have a home dated 1933, and several of the doors in our home had been painted numerous times. I decided I wanted to strip the paint off the doors to bring the doors back to their original beauty. After having a miserable experience with a guy we found on Craigslist, who essentially tried to rip us off, our doors were sitting off their hinges waiting for the paint to be stripped. We searched for quite some time asking around with friends, and other contractors we had worked with for someone who might do this type of work. Everyone insisted that it was too expensive, too labor intensive, and we would be better off just buying new doors. So, my husband found the Strip Shop. Doug was easy to work with and he was open and honest throughout the whole process. It was in the end a little pricey, but I don’t mind paying for a job done well! And our doors have never looked better! They are each more than 5 pounds lighter and you can see the beautiful wood grain once again. The Strip Shop does things right, by disposing of the chemical waste following all the mandated guidelines. I truly respect that. The work was done in a timely manner, and the work was excellently executed. Now, I just need to save money to get everything else in our home stripped and back to its original glory! Thanks Doug, I would highly recommend you!
