I have been working out with the Perfect Workout for almost a year and am completely satisfied with the program and results I have seen. Before going to the Perfect Workout I worked out at a local gym and also at my home gym, but the intensity and consistency of the workout at the Perfect Workout have made a huge difference. All of the trainers I have worked with over the past year have been nice, knowing where to push to get results, but also making the workout enjoyable. I am a believer in the concept of super slow workouts. I went to the Perfect Workout because they had the right equipment and program to achieve the straight training results I wanted. I was tired of spending over an hour in a regular gym, doing high reps, three to five days a week. I get the same results in two 30 minutes sessions a week. I do not have a body builder’s genetics, and will never look like a weightlifter, but I really believe the program has maximized the results I can achieve. I feel stronger, life is easier and friends and family have all noticed.

My experience at The Perfect Workout was pleasant, but definitely did NOT meet my expectations. Plus, although they have a money-back guarantee, they did not refund me 100% — so buyer beware. Here are the details(good and bad :)) The Good: 1) The trainers are incredibly nice. I enjoyed working with every single trainer that I worked with(4 – 5). 2) And the workout definitely made my muscles shaky(particularly the first time!) The Bad: 1) Based on the marketing claims, I expected to be able to lose weight. Despite religiously following the program(lifting 2x/wk, diet, water intake, protein shakes, etc), I lost 1 pound and zero inches. 2) I also had some goals of improving my posture and flattening my stomach — I did not have results in either of these areas. Considering this program is VERY expensive($ 50 is per 20 minute session), I was incredibly disappointed with no results. The Ugly: 1) Despite a money back guarantee(and the fact that I did everything they said(from diet to exercise), they did not refund all my money. To be fair, I agree to the lower amount because they asked me to, but if you are charging a premium for a service that fails to meet the promises your company makes, then you should issue a full refund and not make the consumer feel bad.(Their side of the story was that I increased the weight I could lift, so even if there were no results on the scale or in inches, I still had results. In my opinion, I could have gotten those same results at a much cheaper gym.) My recommendations: — Ensure that they take your weight and measurements and one of your first appointments. Based on their success stories, I thought this would be a given, but I had to ask twice. — Have a candid discussion about their money-back guarantee. Is it based on you being able to lift more weight or on achieving some of your goals? Is it truly a satisfaction guaranteed guarantee? Or only if they decide to grant it to you? — Before signing up for any commitment, make sure you understand this is not just an exercise program. They expect you to diet too(limit caloric intake, as well as eat certain amount of protein, etc). — Keep in mind that if something sounds too good to be true, it usually is. I know everyone is different, so not everything works for everyone, but for me, this was definitely an expensive mistake.

20 minutes twice a week is all it takes to work those muscles to fatigue!
