The San Diego Vasectomy Center

Literally just had my vasectomy done per my wife’s orders and to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. Seriously though, Dr. Bastuba and his staff are excellent. Went in for my consultation last month when I basically watched a short video explaining the procedure and Dr. Bastuba answered any questions or concerns of mine immediately after the video. The no-​scalpel vasectomy today was essentially painless and took about 15 minutes. First injection of the numbing device on the left side felt like a quick rubber band snap followed by 4 less noticeable injections. He eventually numbed the right side after he was done with everything on the left side. Really, getting accidentally kicked in the groin by my little son was 10 million times worse. Dr. Bastuba’s great bedside manner and small talk kept my mind off what he was doing down there. I’ll be back in 12 weeks for my follow-​up appointment. If you are considering a vasectomy, I highly recommend Dr. Bastuba and his staff.
