The Tan Banana

I loved my spray tan I got before my engagement photos!!! It looked so even and nice. It’s Tuesday (I got my spray tan on Friday) and it still looks so good. The only downside is that I’m not getting married in town or else I would go to them before my wedding in October!

The location is very convenient and parking was not a problem. Tiffany explained everything and made sure I was comfortable throughout. Meeting her sweet pup was an added bonus. I’ll definitely be back :)

This was such an easy, cheap deal! Being naked in front of a stranger isn’t always eat ahha but the people here made t more comfortable! The tan turned out great and lasted a while!

The girlfriend insisted that my translucent self get a tan before our Hawaiian vacation. I’ll admit I had my doubts but there was nothing to be nervous about. The owner made an otherwise awkward situation super comfortable, and the tan turned out amaze balls! 5 stars.

First time spray tanning and it was a great experience. Very professional and I was in and out in ten minutes. It’s been over a week and my tan still hasn’t gone away fully. Would absolutely come back here.

Such an adorable space and awesome staff! I had my first tan for a shoot last Friday and everyone kept complimenting on my color, without even knowing It was a spray tan. I will definitely be going back for more. & I still have an awesome tan going :)

This place is GREAT! I had never gotten a spray tan before and the staff there, Gina and Tiffany, made me feel so comfortable. They were knowledgable about their products and answered all of my questions and concerns in great detail. IT LOOKS AMAZING! I’m officially hooked. The whole process took no longer than 15 minutes and by the next day my skin looked and felt great. I would highly recommend The Tan Banana!

I wish I could give more than five stars! The salon is super cute and so convenient to my office! Not only is the salon great, but Ginamarie gave me the best spray tan of my life! It looked so natural and didn’t rub off on any of my clothes or my sheets! I had never had the hydrating spray before but it made my skin feel awesome and the tan lasted forever! In addition to a wonderful spray tan, the customer service was also awesome and I felt totally comfortable the entire time! I love getting spray tans and will definitely be back in the future!

If I could give 6 stars, I would! Where do I even begin?! I sent an email inquiring about an appointment for tomorrow (Friday) and within minutes I had a response. Unfortunately they weren’t available to see me tomorrow but Tiffany offered some appointments today that just happened to work with my schedule. She was very quick to respond, polite, and knowledgable. My first impression was further proven when I got to the salon. I was greeted by the cutest puppy, filled out some paperwork, and within minutes I was already in back getting ready for my tan! The room is very comfortable, and the temperatures are perfect to ensure you don’t get those pesky goosebumps. My appointment was at 2:30 and by 2:40 I was already walking back to my car with a great looking tan! Exceptional customer service, easy location, same day service, quality products, and best of all I was able to check in on Unilocal and get my custom airbrush tan for only $ 25! Now I’m ready for my weekend at Palm Springs — thank you, Tan Banana! I highly recommend them!

I am not an avid tanner, but I’ve seen some pretty terrible tans in my day! Tiffany is a perfectionist. No orange knuckles or white pits– Yay! This boutique is everything I expect when visiting a Little Italy business; quaint, personalized and masterful! I mean, this chick left the corporate world to embark on her small business. I’d say that alone makes her legit and worthy of my business… But let’s face it, my white legs and O.C.D. are why I continue to come back!

Definitely go get your spray tan done here! Tiffany was so nice and my tan looks great. I used the Unilocal discount and got mine for $ 25 :)

Seriously… Tan banana is amazing. I got a tan before a wedding i was in… People commented on how amazing my skin looked. Tan lasted 10 days! Totally worth it!

Tiffany did a great job. She got me in pretty last minute and her pricing I fair. The tan seemed to last a long time too. I would definitely go to her again!

I bought a 3 tan package here about a year ago and used 2 of them. I had only done mystic before, so I couldn’t compare the quality of the tan to other spray salons, but I didn’t look orange and the evenness of the tan was good, each one lasted about a week.
Summer is here again and I contacted Tiffany to schedule an appointment and use the 3^rd tan in my package. To my surprise, she said it expired after 6 months, but she had an opening on Friday evening. I wrote her back and simply said «Oh no! I didn’t know they expired. Thanks anyways.» Did I get a reply? No.
My one star review is for the lack of customer service because that’s the industry you are in when you also get tipped. I tipped upfront when I bought my 3 tan package, so not only did I lose out on a tan I already paid for, but I also tipped upfront on a service I didn’t receive. Customer service oriented businesses would have, at a minimum, replied.

I feel the need to update as I have been with Tiffany and Coco a year now. Happy Anniversary! She is super sweet, and way too pretty!, and does an outstanding job. She also has a cute dog Coco that is always happy to see me. Thank you pumpkins!

I’ve been getting air brush tans at other places for years and this one was definitely my favorite in SD. Super impressed and happy with the results. It is the most natural dark golden tan looking color — Not orange at all. Also, unlike most tans it doesn’t leave you feeling sticky & gross for 10 hours (fully drys and only feels sticky for about an hour or so) It also didn’t have that funky spray tan smell like at iTan. I will for sure be coming back for my next airbrush tan! Loved this place! I believe it’s also appt. only, so call ahead to schedule.

The Tan Banana is absolutely the best. My boyfriend and I went to TTB because we were taking after pictures for a fitness challenge. My boyfriend was very nervous to be tanned and didn’t want to be orange. Tiffany did a GREAT job responding to our color requests. He wanted a more natural tan and I wanted to look like I had been on an island for weeks. Our pictures turned out GREAT and I will definitely be back for any tanning needs.

This place is AMAZING. I’ve been coming here for a few months and I’m absolutely obsessed. Tiffany is the sweetest girl, she is so cute and her salon is adorable. She is so welcoming and friendly, and she does a great job at chatting and making you feel comfortable while you stick your butt in her face while she’s tanning you! Could be uncomfortable for some (not me, I actually love being naked around strangers), but she is totally professional and clearly loves what she does! The pricing is very reasonable, and the tan is amazing. I always get the rapid tan, you can shower after one hour and the color develops over 8 or so hours even after you’ve showered. I love it! I am left looking beautifully bronzed, which is a good thing because my hair is SUPER white blonde so looking pale is not an option for me! I can’t wait to bring my husband here when he gets back from his deployment, he loves looking tan as well so I know he will enjoy coming here with me. So happy I found this cute little place downtown, close to my house and owned by such a sweet girl!
