U.S. Bank

This branch is needs to be trained in communications with customers as well as general customer service. They are very good in referring their customers to the 24hour call center in order to avoid work. In 1 word described, lazy, no empathy as well as no service provided. Especially Tj, didn’t hold on to her promise to call me back about a deposit issue. Very very bad experience!

I have been a member of US Bank for almost a decade. I visit this branch on El Cajon Blvd. every once in a while when I am in the neighborhood and need to take care some business, which today I was. There is a guard who is very friendly and always opens the door for everyone who comes then and greets them. The line is never usually too long here.
I am pretty happy with U.S. Bank especially in comparison with all of the other banks that charge a lot of fees. U.S. Bank is great for small businesses.
I would give them five stars but I knocked off a star because today I went in at 4:40 PM and was told that they could not help me get a debit card or a pin number because the person who had the key to where the cards were had left early in order to get to class which started at 6:00 PM. This really miffed at me because first of all I never got to leave my job early so I could get to class and hour and a half later, leaving business customers to not get service simply because that person has the only key to the place! This just seems ridiculous to me and I think U.S. Bank should either consider getting a better system so they can help the customers or start hiring people that can work there full shift until the bank actually closes.

I’ve been a loyal customer for this bank for a long time. every single time I come here I always get the best service from the employees at this branch. They are always so welcoming and always willing to help including the security that works in this bank. I will remain a loyal customer to this bank for many more years to come. Thanks US Bank for all your service all your help it’s greatly appreciated. Keep up the great work! :)

I went to make a deposit today, and had to wait in line for 15 minutes. There were only two teller windows open, and one was a new teller that was helping someone, and she was still kind of slow. The other was the Merchant Teller who was helping the Branch Assistant with a problem. Meanwhile, there were two people besides me waiting in line.
I’ve found that it’s much easier to use the night depository. The money is in my account not long after the bank opens, and there’s no waiting in line.

I dont see what all these reviews are saying about this bank. I love it. Yes, there are usually only a couple tellers and occasionally there is a bit of a wait, but its nothing like standing in line at a chase or wells fargo. The people are always friendly, they even remember my name.
I opened my account with them when I was 17 and got in a bit of trouble with my first debit card, but they worked with me then and even deleted some of my overdraft fees.
I would have givin them 5 stars except that they have recently started charging for a checking account. Im not surprised with the way the economy has been and there is a loophole you can use to get around the fees by opening up a savings account with them. So far ive just been to lazy.
