UCSD Canyonview Pool

I’ve been coming to the pool for master classes since January and my overall experience so far is amazing! Super clean pool, showers and lockers, attentive employees and good coaches.

LOVE this pool! I go here every summer. They always have the lanes set up. The foam boards are new. The water has just the right amount of chlorine. You need to sign up for a UCSD gym membership but it’s way more affordable than going to a regular gym. I’m going to sound like a total creeper, but I’m a girl so whatever… ladies charge your mental cameras because the Torrey Pines High boys swim team also practices here! They also have a jacuzzi with a nice canyonview (hence the name of the pool). Unlike other pools there are college age people here instead of old and overweight grandpas. They turn on the lights inside the pool when it gets dark so it’s very pretty to swim at night. Overall, the entire atmosphere is just peaceful and serene. Very therapeutic and relaxing.

Yay! Canyonview finally has a Unilocal page! I love it here! the pools are big, and the masters program rocks. If you like swimming competitively, are trying to get more in shape, or just want to try it out, it’s an awesome program. As a college swimming alumni, it’s the perfect mix between hard work and fun.
Or if you just want to swim on your own, the pools are good for that too :) either way, come here and burn some calories while getting tan!
