Urbana Design Build

Urbana Design Build remodeled my master bathroom. They did a beautiful job. Curtis did most of the work and he was a pleasure to have in the house. He even took our dog for potty breaks when she was left there alone with him for too long. Reuben is also very easy to work with and you can’t be their pricing.
The reason for the –1 star. The invoice for the job took a bit longer to receive than we would have liked but we eventually got it, and the mosaic tile in the shower must have been a pain in the butt because as good as Curtis was, he really wasn’t able to hide the lines between sheets of tiles. Overall, the bathroom turned out beautifully and I would recommend them to friends, in fact, I already have :).

I contracted Urbana to do some work in my condo kitchen and could not be more pleased with the work they did! I had Urbana remove the microwave and cabinet above the stove and replace it with a range hood. They also removed all of my old ugly back splash tile and replaced it with marble. It was a relatively small job with lots of technical details including stain matching the newly exposed sides of the adjacent cabinets.
Reuben responded quickly to my request for an estimate. His bid was not the lowest but he was the only one I thought really grasped the potential complexities of the job and my concern that the work be done professionally with minimal disruption to the rest of our condo.
When the crew arrived on time, the first thing they did was set up a negative air, hepa filtered chamber around my kitchen — which worked fantastically to keep the demo dust out of the rest of the place. They also put down heavy cardboard on all of the tile floors on which they would walk and set their tools. I’ve never seen this much care taken to protect a home!
They then proceeded to work three days in a row. Each day they showed up at 8:30 to set up and waited to make noise until 9 when my condo allows work. They continued to work with few breaks well into the early evenings — switching to quiet work after 5pm — as again required by my condo. They were devoted to finishing the job in the least amount of time — and they did!
The kitchen looks fantastic and every little detail was sorted out to our satisfaction with no hassles. I would not hesitate to recommend this outfit for improvements in your home.

Urbana Design and Build just remodeled my home and I’m thrilled. Their design work is impeccable and their workers did an amazing job. Their attention to detail down to the floor boards was beyond impressive. They genuinely want their clients to be happy and have a beautiful living space. I never would have come with all the beautiful and creative ideas they supplied me with. My two most «design minded» girlfriends have raved about how great my kitchen looks.
I got 3 estimates from the project and they were very reasonably priced compared to the other guys. (One of the other contractors came in 10K higher for the exact same job! No thank you!!!)
If you are looking for remodel work, get an estimate from these guys. You will thank yourself later.

Reuben has done a number of jobs for us, ranging from building out faux walls to installing lighting. The work is excellent and his pricing is reasonable. I totally agree that he has a great attitude and is easy to work with. He is now our go-​to guy for any kind of construction.

Mr. Rosso can do it all! He has assisted me in many of my commercial build-​outs and repairs and is a reliable, trustworthy person. What is great about him is that he has a can-​do attitude to get the job done quickly. Thanks Reuben!
