Love URBN, I usually come here with my friends or family for dinner. The atmosphere is fun and the pizza’s are delicious. My fav is their wings, and their mashed potato pizza. The pizza’s are huge, and perfect to share!

I walked into an empty restaurant around 2 for a late lunch, scared, because there were absolutely no customers. But, I blame that on the time because the meal was AWESOME. For those of you wanting a casual drink — it’s probably a better idea to come around dinner time to experience the active atmosphere. We ordered the URBNBBQ Chicken pizza(small $ 18) and the Spicy Coal Fired Wings($ 9). The pizza was my absolute favorite. They say the small size serves 2 and large serves 4 — but even as a 2, order the large because the pizza is not filling! Ok, but seriously, order the pizza. I would come back again just for the pizza. It comes in a large tray, thin crust, with 8 slices(once again, because the crust is so thin, it isn’t filling). The sauce was bbq based with bacon, scallions, and chicken on top. SOGREAT, I REALLY, TOTALLYRECOMMEND! And for the coal fired wings — I wish it would’ve been more saucy. We initially ordered, expecting a spicy sauce to come along with the chicken, but it was more of a spicy seasoning on top(not spicy at all though). But the chicken itself was juicy and well-cooked on coal. Get it if you want that smoky chicken taste! I would give this place 5 stars because of the pizza, but one thing is a bit disappointing. It takes a long time for the foods to come out. We expected ourselves to be served quickly because there were no customers but it took a good 20 – 30 minutes for our pizza and wings to come out. Other than that, overall great experience, and I’ll be back to eat 2 pizzas next time.

The pizza was delicious! Thin crust pizza is also my favorite. I like the ware house feel to the place aswell. The server was very friendly! They also have alot of beer by the bottle its too bad they don’t have good kind on draft! We ordered the brussels spouts and the BBQ chicken pizza it was really tasty.

Good food and drink selection. Wines, local craft beers, and various pizzas and other dishes to satisfy the appetite. Parking is a little sketchy when it’s busy but worth the effort. Service is fast and friendly and the open floor layout makes it very spacious. Had a fresh clam pizza and a meatball/mozzerella pizza. Both tasted awesome! Definitely repeat visit when I get the chance!

4 stars for the pizza, 3 stars for the service. Service was slow, but the waitress was nice. The peppered salami pizza here was my favorite. I also tried the sausage and peppers pizza, it was alright, but really salty — maybe it was the cheese they out on it. The nice thing is that you can do half and half for your pizzas, try two different types of pizza in one! But you have to pick types that have the same sauce base. They have white and red pizzas here! So go wild you white pizza lovers! The place really has an urban feel to it… good job with the theme. Parking is hard to find here, so give yourself extra time if you’re meeting someone!

Went here for an official first date and it did not disappoint! Here’s how it went down: Walked in on a rainy Monday evening hoping for a booth and got prematurely upset when we were seated along the side of the restaurant staring out into the street. This ended up working to our advantage because 1– we had our privacy without the pressure of silence and 2– our waitress really only focused on us and 2 other couples seated similarly. We were asked for our drink orders about 10 minutes after being seated, and received our drinks 10 minutes after that. Not gonna lie, the 20 minute delay was disappointing, but hey, what can you do. We ended up splitting a small pizza two ways: mashed potato on one side and the gouda garlic alfredo pizza on the other. Just a heads up, they are more than happy to split pizzas in half for you as long as the base sauce is the same(i.e., white with white, red with red). Pizza took a while to come out(~20−25 mins after ordering), but boy was it worth it. Mashed potato pizza NEVER disappoints, and I don’t care for any of that carb-on-carb nonsense(live a little)! The crust held up with the mashed potato, and it was the perfect amount of bacon for me(my date said he could use a little more, lol). The gouda garlic alfredo pizza was just as delicious, and the sundried tomatoes MADE the pizza for me. I was able to put away three slice total, which left my date with 5 slices to finish. Which he did. No damn leftovers. All in all, the food is great, m but I wish the service was a little quicker considering the restaurant wasn’t packed when we went. URBN has earned it’s pizza joint street cred and I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

Been to the one in vista tons of times, and love it. First time at this location, and it didn’t disappoint. The one and only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is the lighting. we sat in a booth towards the front… under the big fan. Well in that area there is NO lights around you, and the closet one is an edison bulb at the bar. we had to use our phones to read the menu! its really not a huge deal, just slightly annoying. On to the good. Pizza is one of my favorites! crust toppings everything tastes fresh. salads are good and great beer selection.

URBN is the best pizza in San Diego. It’s lit, Fam. 10⁄10 no fine print. Get the mashed potato pizza and add meat to it. Meat = big gains

I’ve been to URBN every time I visit my friend who lives in North Park. I love it every single dang time! The service is always very chill and relaxed, but the servers I have had were always energetic and polite. They have never pushed me to leave even when they were changing server shifts(but ALWAYS close out with that server that way they make their tips). I love their pizzas and beer choices. My go-to is the potato pizza and any of their darker beers. I love that they have porters and stouts… whereas a lot of other places don’t even give dark beers a chance! Although service and pizza are the main reasons why I keep coming back to this place, they have the best ambiance. High ceilings give this place a strong warehouse feel – cavernous but still very warm/wooden. They have restrooms in the back, and lots of space for big groups. I always see huge parties or reservations here every time I’m here for dinner or happy hour. You’ll never feel bored while you people watch. The only constructive comment I have is to allow the potato/truffle pizza to be one of the ½ styles. The potato pizza is THEBEST in my opinion, so it’s a shame that they won’t let us choose that as a half style versus the other ones. But that isn’t such a big problem. Give me their beer, service with a smile, and comfy seating and I’m a happy gal.

Oh URBN you tickle my fancy. You churn out the pizza that warms my belly. From white to red, sausage and peppers even the mashed potatoes, you make it all and all with ease. but I loathe waiting, waiting’s the worst! Never fear, you have an answer! You take my number and release me into the wild. With shops all around, I keep myself busy. Around in North Park there’s stuff aplenty. Yet the best time to come is when there’s no one at all. The sounds and the laughter bounce off the walls, into my ears and around in my head. «Oh it’s so loud!» No one can hear. But it won’t keep me away. I’ll just pick up my order! URBN you’re the best. That’s a big weight to carry. Wear it with pride ‘ol friend and I’ll see you next year!

Why 5 stars? Because the concoctions of pizza are endless and amazing. — — — The best thing about visiting fellow Unilocal Community Managers, is that they always hook you up with some of the best places to eat in their metro. Even better, you don’t have to spend any time researching or planning — you just blindly follow instructions and stuff your face with the best that _____town has to offer. Enter my trip to San Diego and visit to URBN. Joined by fellow professional eaters, Brad B and Trish S, we did our jobs on this day. Well. The locals handled the ordering, and order they did: Salad: They had this waiting upon my arrival, so I am not even sure which one it was. But it tasted like pizza in salad form… minus the dough and sauce + lettuce and vegetables. So nothing like pizza, but more like a really good salad. Mashed Potato Pizza: Because, how do you not order this when it’s on a menu? Starch on starch on starch…(Starch tastes best when paired with another starch.) BURBNBBQ Chicken — Do you guys get the branding? Because it’s from URBN, and they use Bourbon BBQ sauce on it. PS: Marketing makes things taste better. Hydration: There’s a craft beer list that’s more extensive than any I’ve ever seen at a pizza joint. So many that their website has to separate them into their countries of origin on the menu. See, they’re just like Dominos. Oh, and the cocktails are of the high-quality variety — also just like Dominos. Awesome décor. Great food. Lovely place.

3stars for the pizza. The(B) urban pizza. Super delicious. And good sized for 2 people. The sauce is delicious and the toppings a plenty. However DONOTORDERTHESALADS. We ordered the chopped Italian and added chicken. $ 14.50 for coleslaw«salad» with TINY slivers(literally) of salami. REALLYDISAPPOINTINGDONTWASTEYOURMONEYONOVERPRICEDSHITSALAD.

About my third time here. Friday night was lively, and maybe even too loud for my preference when dining. I’ve been on a weekday night and it’s much more mellow. Has a sip of the urbn mule, delicious and very much spicy from the ginger. The bacon and mashed potatoes pizza is a must. The eggplant is a delicious choice with breaded eggplant over a cheese pizza. It resembles eggplant parmesan. The sausage and pepper is delicious too but salty, so it goes well with a beer. Great for groups and late night meals!

Still my Favorite pizza in San Diego, it rides the line between NY thin crust and those fancy Italian artisan type pizzas. The crust is thin but has both a crunch and a chew to it which to me makes the pizza so great. The ingredients are top notch, they have some creative and unique pizzas as well as your standard pizza all of which are outstanding. I’ve had their most famous, mashed potato pizza which is awesome. More recently I’ve had their chicken alfredo pizza, a white pie(parmesan and garlic base) with chicken and basil. I was afraid i wasn’t going to like it because I’m not usually a fan of chicken on pizza. It can sometimes be dry, but this was not. I loved the garlicy white sauce, the tender chicken and the fresh basil. I highly recommend any pizza with the white sauce! Also tried the eggplant, sun dried tomato pizza with basil and fresh mozzarella, it was good but i think prefer pizza with some kind of meat. I was with a non meat eater, so this was their selection. I also created my own pizza, pepperoni, mushroom, and jalapeño. It was good and as always the crust was out of this world but side by side with the chicken alfredo; Their creation won. Most of all i like their crust, the little charred bubbly parts that crack and pop when you bite into it, but still has some chew to it, it reminds me of those Italian artisan pizza places. I could eat any pizza from here. Service was great, its a well oiled machine here, i like that there is a hidden pull out stand for the pizza at the booth tables, for when you order too many pizzas to fit on one table. It is family friendly during the weekdays and most of the weekend. It does turn into a bar on weekends, they start carding at 9pm on Friday and Saturdays.

Quality pizza with unique ingredients for both vegans and meat lovers. Pizza’s are HUGE and a large can easily feed a hungry party of 5 – 6 people. It’s coal-fired so pizza is on the thinner side, crust also crispy/charred and thin. The ambiance is very lively with loud music playing in the background in a very dimmed restaurant. URBN is VERY spacious and designed to hold large parties as evident by two long tables on either side of the main dining area. Reservations are welcomed and encouraged on busy Friday and Saturday nights. Craft beer, wine and cocktails are served. They have a few of their beers from URBN St. Brewery on tap all the time. Guest taps are constantly rotated. I like the whole concept of the place and think the food is pretty good, Just slightly turned off by how loud it can get in here. If you have a huge party(which is encouraged), you won’t be able to interact with anyone unless they’re right along side you. Also difficult to hear people who are directly across from you. Despite this, the place is in a great location so you’re free to eat then hop over to the other bars and clubs at your leisure.

My girlfriend is a die hard Seahawks fan so we wanted to do something fun for the Thursday football game last night. We had never eaten at URBN and had been wanting to for a while so we used this as an excuse. We got a seat where we could see the tv and ordered some drinks. We decided to try the pumpkin beery I get in the fall mood. It was delicious, not to sweet or anything. We ordered the mashed potato pizza and pest chicken, half and half. It was delicious! The perfect compliment to our cold beers. Jacq, our waiter was so friendly even though it looked like she was a bit swamped with tables. The manager, Derek, stopped by a few times to make sure we were doing good. All in all it was a very pleasant experience, not to mention the Seahawks won!

One star for service. No stars for food cus I didnt even get to try it! This place«looked» nice. Thats what attracted me to URBN. The ambiance seemed appealing from the street so I asked my brother to come with me one evening to try it out. We finally went in tonight excited only to find there was no host to greet us(It was around 11:10pm). I was guessing there was suppose to be one at the door to seat us since there was a hostess desk at the entrance. My brother and I stood there for 2 minutes while people were looking at us being clueless as to what to do. I didnt know if we were suppose to sit somewhere or wait. I swore 3 ppl who worked there just looked at us from across the room. We decided to sit at the bar, as we did 3 workers walked by us and didn’t say anything. One smiled though. Since no one said anything we just sat at the bar. For 2 or 5 minutes we just sat waiting then finally a female bartender with short black hair comes to greet us. We ask if we can still order food(since it was late) and she gives us a squinty tired look and says the kitchen will close in 15 mins. Now did that mean ok u can order a meal real quick or no we don’t want your business tonite because we are closing the kitchen soon? We said we’ll take a look at the menu and she says ok and goes back to cleaning. I glimpsed over the menu and saw that the average price for a large pizza was $ 30. Thats pretty pricy for a place with crappy service. Who would pay that much for pizza when the staff is barely friendly? Maybe the pizza is that good, I wouldn’t know. Anyway I’ve had 5 star services at many just average places in San Diego. I at least know that in order to be competitive, as soon as you walk into a sit down restaurant, you should be greeted with a smile within the first minute someone enters your restaurant at all times. I didn’t even get to try the food because I was told the kitchen is closing in 15 mins! What dining restaurant says that? …URBN. So we just left like they probably wanted us to.

A great place to hang out with friends and enjoy a pizza and a beer. They had a great special going on… order a pitcher of beer and a pizza and get the pizza for free! So we did… ordered the brown ale… loved it! Then made a pizza with pesto and chicken with white sauce and mozzerella! So good! Love the atmosphere in this place. Lots of seating, a TV for watching some football(and I appreciate them having the Chiefs game on), and good eats! A group of us came here for a networking event and it was great! The staff were very friendly and quick to serve us. I’m a fan. Yay!
