This place really deserves zero stars. I was waiting in line for about five minutes. There was no one in front of me at the time. There were five employees at the front registers and not one of them acknowledged my presence. So, I left the shirt I was going to purchase on top on the cashiers monitor. This place lacks customer service. Don’t come here.

Friendly staff in a place that is alittle rough in organization and cleanliness. I think Vans Corp maybe be the problem. The footwear that was put out to public in the 80’s was great. Could be just me but the quality seemed to be lower — not too sturdy.

This place has to be a the worse vans ever! Dirty, messy, and employees are rude. I went into the fitting room with my friend and was unaware of the 1 person per fitting room. And so I was just helping out my friend cause they had a grip of stuff to try on. And someone knocks on the door hella loud. And we answer with a «yes»? No response until like 7 seconds later and yells«ONEPERSONPERFITTINGROOM»! For one there is no need to yell and knock so hard to inform us about that. A simple knock and normal tone of voice would have been fine. You do not need to be so aggressive to your customers. Sales are ok here, other than that rude employees that don’t care about what you’re looking for and unorganized inventory.

Holy fuck!! so many freakn shoes basically literally«off the wall». But when i went to go see for the kids… their variety is so not very varied. I didn’t seem to like any of the 8 diffferent styles in shoes for kids sooo maybe ill stick to plaza bonita or chula vista vans stores. The clothing tho… not bad buy one and get another ½ price off. I wouldn’t come shop here for shoes. jus sayin tho.

Friendly, helpful staff. I didn’t see my shoes on the rack, asked an employee for my size and had a new pair in my hands quickly. Respect.

I gave this place a second star because of the sale they usually run and the fact that there is usually a decent selection of mens shoes. The employees in here are robots though, long line, multiple people behind the registers but only one working. Everyone else, kinda just hanging out. No acknowledgment at all. At the register I asked if they sold shoe laces separate and was told no. After checking out I saw a rack with shoe laces. Thanks. I then I asked what size lace fits the shoe I bought, they were unsure. Way to go.

I would give it 3 stars if they made the buying experience easier. They must experience HIGHTHEFT as their shoes are wired together with sensors to the point you cant lace up the shoes and try them on, let alone walk around in them. I brought this up to the cashier and she said they barely have any time to put them on in the first place. This speaks volume of the customer service you can expect from coming here. The clerk basically had the attitude of «If you don’t like it, go somewhere else». I guess this makes sense as they were packed full of customers every time I have come her in the past. They do have lower quality than regular VANS stores or other retailers. This is why they sell them cheaper and offer buy one and get the other ½ off. The clothing is pretty much retail, but they entice you to buy more by giving you half off when you buy the second shirt.

Employees here can be helpful but kind of have a piss-off attitude at the same time. Just visit, you’ll see what I mean. Still, I found a pair of boat shoes and a pair of hemp shoes at buy 1 get 1 half off during my trip. Original retail for both was between 45 and 55, and I walked away with both for less than 35. Score! The overall experience is definitely good enough for another visit.

Don’t come here to find women’s shoes, there’s no dedicated section. Do come here for men’s shoes, but they don’t carry the nice stuff. They do have a good selection of men’s tee shirts.

Employees here are very lazy and just want to talk to each other and hang out.

Enjoy the selection, but don’t make any phone calls in here because it is so close to border you may be billed for international. This is an outlet. Prepare for cheapness.

i get all my kids shoes here… and only when they are buy 1 get one 50% off… which is most of the time… my kiddos love their Vans! they recently relocated to the front of the mall(they used to be hidden more in the back)…this spot is bigger and brighter… yay!

I’m glad that I am back in town living in San Diego. This means I can go visit one of my favorite places to get skater shoes– at a fraction of the price. What is very cool about this place is that the list prices are lower and you can always find a hidden gem or two within reason. Oldskool with skulls? Found them. Newskool in green? Not my size, but I got them anyway for my little brother’s birthday next week. Vans since 1966.
