I find it crass that reviews for doctors sit alongside reviews for taco stands, but what are you going to do. To spare you the flowery words I wrote in a letter of thanks to Dr. Young today… We had a long difficult journey to get my wife pregnant. We met Dr. Young and immediately felt charged with a sense of renewed optimism because he was just good at what he does. He told us flat out we would be able to do this and less than a year later we had our daughter, who is now three and a half. That fits all my criteria for a good review. Now back to taco stands.

Dr. Young glanced at my breast lump and quickly gave me a diagnosis of «cyst» because I was too young to have anything else. He didn’t even do an ultrasound! Well, it turns out my «cyst» was cancer.

I have been looking for an RE to help me for a long time. Most say that because I can get pregnant on my own, there’s no need for me to get help. It took me over a year to get pregnant the first time, and the second time I got pregnant I had an early miscarriage. It was EASY to book an appointment, he schedules follow-​ups at the end of the appointment, does all the monitoring and prescribing I would expect, and is easy to talk to. He tends to do things (rx, tests, etc) without telling me exactly why, but when I ask questions, he always takes the time to explain things thoroughly. I would definitely recommend him.

Dr. Young has been my gynecologist for the past three years, and I’ve found him to be very helpful and gentle. The last time I went in was a bit rushed only because he had to go in for surgery (on him, not in one of his patients), but other than that, his bedside manner is very friendly, and he always makes sure my questions are answered.

Let’s face it. Going to the vag doctor is awkward. But Dr. Young is nothing short of hilarious and knowledgeable. With a medical degree from Harvard, he is usually correct in his diagnoses and correct medicinal dosages. I usually do not have to go in for a second visit, and he will call you himself with your lab results. His sense of humor is unique, being an OBGYN, and I like that I can usually get squeezed into the office for an appointment within the week, and the appointment itself is usually short and painless as can be, for again, being an OBGYN. I referred my friend to him too and she loves him.
