Starbucks

Absolutely the worst Starbucks ever. I always come to this target location since it’s near my home and every time I’ve come to the Starbucks here the cashier is so rude and doesn’t care about the customers! I’ve called to complain to the manager at Target and she apologized and said she would have a talk with her but it doesn’t seem to have made a difference. Today I was in here and I heard her being rude to another person! I will be calling corporate Starbucks and making a formal complaint.

I stood at the counter for 5 minutes waiting to be acknowledged. The barrista was cleaning her workstation despite a line of people. I completely understand the need for cleanliness where food service is concerned. But a smile and a simple, «I’ll be with you in just a moment,» would have gone a long way for those of us waiting in line.

Stopped here for a drink like I usually do while I’m in target. The woman behind the counter was not wearing an apron so I figured she was a manager helping out (some of the Starbucks inside retail stores can get pretty short staffed during later hours). I asked if they had eggnog and she said yes. I then attempted to order an eggnog latte without milk (Starbucks cuts their eggnog lattes with half milk). I’ve ordered this drink hundreds of times throughout the last 5 years or so and never had someone tell me they couldn’t do it, let alone be so rude to me about my request. She kept telling me «it’s a pre-​made mix» and «we don’t do that». Yes I understand that it’s a mix, but I know you are the ones who mix it. You have unmixed eggnog behind the counter. The barista then turns to her and tells her he needs to make more mix. This confirms the fact that they make it, and even after he says this she is still adamant that they cannot do it. I have a feeling this wouldn’t have been an issue if the barista was working the register instead of the target supervisor. I finally just ordered something else because I didn’t want to deal with her anymore. Target supervisors should stick to supervising the rest of the store and let the baristas do their jobs if they don’t know what they’re doing behind the counter. Gave an extra star because the barista did a good job and was polite. Stay away from this Starbucks if a supervisor is working the register!
