Today was my first time in the salon, I came in with green hair on the tips and had blue chalk die under the green from 4 months ago that I had tried washing out numerous times with no success, so I honestly didn’t think it would lift completely but I walked out with a beautiful blonde balayage with ashy tips and ABSOLUTELY NO MORE green or blue! Balayage is definitely her specialty because she did a fantastic job. I am so happy with the finishing product of my hairs, all thanks to Elle! I’ve always been super picky with stylists and have also had bad experiences with stylists as well, but I will definitely be coming back to her when I need a touch up or a haircut. I would definitely recommend her to my family and friends!

I am beyond satisfied with Elle and this salon! If you’re looking for any reasons as to why you should visit her, here are some:
1: Elle is a bayalage genius. She took my brassy, orangish, severely grown out ombré and transformed it to a beautiful beige bayalage. Step 1 to becoming blonde for the summer.
2: Even after all the bleach, I left with my hair feeling 10x healthier than it did before (and she didn’t have to hack off all of my hair to do so).
3: Absolutely love Elle’s integrity as a stylist. She will not take your money and leave you with nasty, processed, damaged hair. She puts the integrity of the hair first, which is soooooo hard to find in stylists.
So yes, ladies, go book your appointments now, she is soooo worth it!

I got my hair done by Elle in November and she was amazing! She did a much needed touch up on my grown out bayalage and a cut. It’s been over two months since I’ve gotten my hair done and I still get asked if I’ve just gotten my hair done. I’ve never gotten so many compliments on my hair before. Thank you Elle!

I came here recently after Unilocaling a hair salon around my area and left completely satisfied with my hair cut and hair color. My stylist’s name was «L», she is new to the salon but is awesome!!!. My hair was long with lots of blonde color highlight in my hair. I had shown her several pictures of what I wanted… dark hair with peek-​a-​boo caramel highlights plus a hair-​cut. Throughout my session she would fill me in on what she was doing even telling me with shade number such as 3 – 7 which I appreciated. She check-​in to make sure everything she was doing I was comfortable with and if the pressure from the color brush was okay when she was coloring. She even offered a hand massage to me while I was laying down with toner in my hair and the lady next to me even though it was another stylist’s customer. Conversation with her was natural and easy. She was super friendly! Throughout my whole session at the salon, she was not aggressive with selling any hair products that they had. Usually when I go to hair salon i feel as if I am constantly being persuaded to buy every product that they had, so not having someone do it made me feel more comfortable to ask about products they had. My hair color, partial highlight, and haircut came out to be $ 140 ish… they currently have a special for a free haircut with color. High recommend this place and HIGHLY RECOMMEND my hair stylist «L». It is hard to find someone that can do color hair well and she does an amazing job.

I was recommended to Monica when my usual girl Mandy was out on leave. She did an amazing job touching up my hair color and giving me fresh cut with layers. I cant wait to go back, I know I will always get great service.

Have been here a couple times with Monica. She is hands down one of the best stylist I’ve had. She listens to what you want and is very sweet. She has done an ombré on me twice and has upkept with it and gets exactly what I want. Price you can’t beat! Highly recommend this lovely hair studio.

I’ve been coming to see Courtney for over 3 years. I live nowhere close to The Loft, but will gladly make the trek for her alone. She is extremely capable of making any request better than you can imagine, and understands what you mean when all you say is «I need a change.» Color is always spot on, and cut is perfection.
I’ve also worked with her in settings outside of The Loft for makeup (weddings and photo shoots) and she exceeds expectations there as well… One afternoon she handled full makeup for a bride, 3 bridesmaids, mother of the bride and touch-​ups… All within 3 – 4 hours, on-​site, in South OC. She was cool and calm and yet worked expediently, all while making the bride very very happy.
As for the venue «The Loft» itself, it is always busy, staffed well, and they offer entertainment while you wait, munchies to nosh on and beverages to sip. Clean and welcoming atmosphere.

Still going to Mandy and still loving my hair. Mandy is always really accommodating and gives me the perfect shade of blonde!

Love love love Courtney after my first visit a few weeks ago. I found her thanks to Unilocal reviews and she was just what I needed, someone that has vision and can help make decisions for someone like me that wasn’t sure what I wanted. So happy with the result and she is sweet as sunshine! Found myself a stylist for life with this one!

Did my hair with kathleen. She was accommodating in scheduling me. She was very communicative and pretty much provided me with the color and cut I needed. She blended my hair nicely from a previous bad ombré from a different salon and also cut my hair which needed a lot of tlc without losing the length in my hair. Feels and looks a million times better. Thank you

There is no one with more professional experience then kathleen corbett, she is the BEST, Her actions alone talks for it self! Keep it up!

Monica was amazing. I didn’t have to tell her anything and she still gave me the look I wanted and chopping 3+ inches off, styling, and deep conditioning only took a little over 30 minutes. The ambiance of the salon was so calming and fun at the same time. Most stylists accept groupon or living social (Monica books her own appointments so she has a separate groupon entirely).

I had a color and cut with Lauren and she and my hair are absolutely amazing! I definitely recommend her at The Loft

I highly recommend this salon, in particular hairstylist Kathleen Corbett. I’ve returned to her several times, she always knows how to make color look good. I’m currently bleaching my hair to become blonde and she knows how to do it without frying my hair out! She’s great! And she always has the best price. The salon is very clean and they offer water soda and wine! Very peaceful relaxing place to get away. The receptionist always greets everybody. They don’t act like they’re too cool like most modern salons I have been to.

Courtney is the best!!! She does exactly what you say. I absolutely love my new haircut.

I made an a appointment with Kathleen to do the balyage. We set a date and she had to cancel last minute that same day for a family emergency. I completely understood so we rescheduled for another day. I could tell she felt bad so she gave me a better deal and I plan to do my balyage with her soon

Went here for the first time and for a haircut, color bayalage and just over all fresh new look. I came out feeling like YES!!!
It’s the perfect find. Lacey was my stylist and it was great. First she asks you what your expectations are, what you like, what you don’t like and shes straight up about what will work and what won’t and I like that.
Price was pretty decent for what was done and I felt like it was worth the money.
PLUS! They offer wine throughout the time you’re there so that’s like an A+ for me.
Beautiful, clean salon! My go to salon from now on for sure!

My girlfriend has been going to Courtney for the last year she is very professional down to earth always has a smile keeps good conversation. She’s very knowledgeable in color, trending styles, and helping each client with their unique personal requests. The only main problem was that The Loft does NOT have wifi, which didn’t really help out when I wanted to write this review on Unilocal.I had to go across the street to the Starbucks just to get service. But besides that a The Loft has a great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Groupon led me to this place. Kendra was my stylist and did an amazing job. Naturally my hair is black and I always dye my hair a shade of brown. I wanted something different so I did a dark violet hair. The color turned out great.
The second time I came here was because I needed to get my ombré fixed. I had gotten an ombré done at a different salon and the stylist totally messed up my hair and did opposite of what I wanted. I called The Loft and the receptionist suggested I go in for a consultation first to see what they can do. I met with Samantha and she booked me in for the same week.
My hair is long medium brown and I wanted a lighter brown ombré. Before my appointment, my hair was pretty much dark brown at the roots and super ash blonde at the tips. It looked like my hair was dyed that color and my roots were showing. Samantha fixed the problem and made my ombré to a lighter brown with a better transition. She was also very gentle and detailed when it came to coloring my hair.
I’m sure they do a good job on all hair types, but if you have long dry/​damaged or wavy hair, she knows how to color and style it. Also if you need an ombré or had an ombré uh-​oh, lol.
Other good things about the salon is the quiet location and relaxing ambiance.
