Prices fair, service professional. What more is there to say?

After a horrible experience at Woodland Hills alterations where we were pretty much being hijacked on pricing, I went to Nancy.
I am SO HAPPY I did. She was so reasonable, honest, and finished my dress quickly.
They only accept cash or check.

I’ve been going to Nancy forever. She is such a kind person and her work is impeccable. Whenever I bring something in to be altered, she has a smile to share. A true rarity these days. I highly recommend her, from the simple hem job to an elegant gown.

I came here on the day before my son’s wedding. I was referred by another local seamstress who was too busy. I wonder if Nancy knows she has a guardian angel? She’s an angel herself. She fixed my dress with no hesitation, and she got it back to me the same morning as the wedding. Her price was very reasonable, definitely tip her, she deserves it.

Nancy Alternation is the only place my mom and I trust. She has fixed over 50 things of my mom’s and at least 5 things of mine. Anything from hemming pants and dresses to shortening straps on dresses. She has never disappointed us. Everything she has done has been everything we wanted. I trust her 100% with any of my clothing. She also has it done pretty fast. It’s never more than a week of waiting and if you need it by a certain date she will definitely try to do it.

Great work. My daughter’s prom dress was too tight around the arms but fine everywhere else. An intricate dress with sheer areas and appliques. They did a stellar job and was done within 5 days. You could not tell anything was altered.

While I was cleaning out my closet one day, I was delighted to discover one of my absolute favorite velvet dresses I purchased from Anthropologie years ago, hiding between two bulky coats. After trying it on, I noticed it was awkwardly long (I usually prefer dresses above the knee or below the ankle — this one was just below my knees).
Upon a recommendation from my mother, I took it to Nancy Alteration to be shortened. Nancy was very sweet. She had me try on my dress (with slightly high heeled shoes — she has you bring in the shoes you plan to wear with your dress, or wear one of her similar sample shoes she has on the sales floor, since your shoe height affects dress length), pinned it as short as I wanted, then asked when I wanted it by. I told her Friday (yesterday) and she happily obliged. I picked it up yesterday, and my newly altered dress is absolutely PERFECT. She shortened it seamlessly — it looks as if I bought it at the length it is. And the length is exactly what I was envisioning.

Professional, quality work in a timely manner with polite service

I was referred to Nancy by another critically acclaimed tailor that was too busy with wedding dresses. I came here with a bag full of work dresses that I needed to have taken in about 3 dress sizes. Nancy was very nice, but when she looked at my dresses told me that the alterations would be so extensive that it wasn’t worth the cost ($ 40) and instead advised me to buy new clothes.
I was disappointed, but appreciated how honest she was with me and for that I give her a good rating.

Kinda pricy for tailors… But, they do an amazing job. If you want something right done goto Nancy Alteration. Best tailor in the valley.

Nancy did the hem on my long dress with a short train, I have for my daughter’s wedding. I wanted to be able to put on some flat shoes and dance away at some point in the evening without tripping on the hem. She shortened it for the high heeled shoes then put a button for me to hook up the train when I put on the flats. She is great.

I LOVE Nancy! You can trust your St John, Chanel, or even your favorite t-​shirt that has holes in it that you need to have mended — she has altered so many items for me and its always perfect as if came off the floor. I have been to many places where you are scared to take something sentimental or expensive… but not with Nancy. She is extremely talented. :-)

My girlfriend and her mom love this place. They use it all the time!
Only CON is that they are a cash only business.
