Antojitos Don Chuy

4 years I believe this place has been open for business. It’s really hard to notice, maybe that’s why up this point someone is writting a review for it. If your driving real slow through this city you prolly will notice. Well, when I went in front of the door of this business it looked like a old run down place. But when you walk in it’s really pretty inside. I really like how everything is set up and the pictures are nice. They have two tv screens, and around 3 cooks and one cook. One of the cashier is very friendly and asks you if you liked the food, I kinda don’t like that only because if the food is bad I don’t like to lie. So you get your food pretty fast. It’s a small menu, the price is a little pricey, but decent.
I like the brown color inside, anyway… I got the menu and the first time I ever went in I orderd a salad… funny thing was they did not have that on the menu so they made one up on the spot just for me. It took a little long, but that’s because I guess they were thinking of what to come up with. The salad was big and really good. It included avacado slices, tomato, shreded lettuce, i think cheese, dressing (forgot which one), and umm taco type shells in the salad. I belive they charged me about 6 bucks. It should have been more, but it was on the spot. Now they have two types of salads after that.
Next time I went in I had 2 fish tacos with chipotle dressing, really good and filled me up. Before that I had a steak burrito, decent portion it’s a good shape. The rice and beans felt and tasted different from most places and the meat was well cooked. Next time I orderd a quesadilla, pretty small, but well made, won’t fill you up, but good flavor. So I have been here 3 times. They have bottled water, Horchata, Jamaica, soda… all the general mexican drinks and regular pop drinks. The place is pretty empty, but because of the location. Oh yea the bathroom is real clean, so this place I will give it an A.
