Has anyone else noticed how inexplicably difficult it is to find a quality damn donut in the San Fernando/Pacoima/Sylmar area? I was too lazy to drive to Burbank for Krispy Kreme and Winchell’s down the street was already closed so I found this place nearby. The donuts are ugly. There, I said it… BUT, I decided not to judge a donut by its misshapen-ness and grabbed 6 mixed. First I was a little irritated because the cashier didn’t even bother putting them in a box, just two small white bags so all the donuts and toppings rubbed over each other. This lack of attention to detail really bothers me. Have some respect for your donuts! Honestly, haven’t had a quality donut since I moved back to LA from New York. Hope this changes some day, but unless I’m looking for a very mediocre donut, I would not try Christy’s.

The wifey had a craving for donut holes this morning, searched on Unilocal and this place showed up as closest. It’s a small shop with some regulars sitting and checking their lotto scratchers. The nice friendly little lady behind the counter gave me 2 dozen donut holes, 5 chocolate bars, chocolate sprinkle and a tasty ham and cheese sandwich with all the fixins on top. Very delicious sandwich! My little one grabbed and ate half of the sandwich even before I could remove my shoes! She cried out, daddy it’s so good can I have it all? Well I guess next time I gotta get two! Will definitely be back for more.

I always go here and I enjoy their sandwiches. They also have ice cream, smothies and boba drinks if you’re in the mood for one. Donuts, croissants and sandwiches. they’re all good.

Pleasant service! The people who run this place are so nice and the prices are great! I stopped by to get a dozen donuts to take to my husbands work and although I don’t like donuts much, I ordered a ham and cheese croissant and it was so delicious! The dozen and the croissant only cost $ 10 and the croissant is big and filling– so totally worth it! Great local donut shop and I hope it continues to do well :)

First time here. Typical Valley donut shop. Clean but the parking lot is terrible — under sized. I got two glazed for $ 1.60 average price. Donuts were tasty for being 9:30AM. Nothing to rave about but good.

First time going in. The place itself is a little small and dark which made me hesitant at first. However, I got some donuts and all i can say is WOW! So good and fluffy! I went in during the afternoon time anyways, but it was amazing. Recommend!

I’ve been coming here for at least 5 years now. The donuts are great. Way better than the generic tasting wenchell’s nearby. They are made fresh throughout the day. They are super nice, and have great prices. I love getting their Taro Boba Slushes. I swear they are great. The maple bars and cinnamon rolls are amazing.

I sometimes stop by this shop off the 5 freeway when driving back home from work. Once I was hungry and got a glazed donut. It was yummy. The other time got 2 scoops of ice-cream. The portions were huge and cost only $ 2.50 and was very tasty. I usually also end up buying a scratcher here. The lady at the counter is very sweet and helpful.

There are many donut shops in the city of San Fernando. Every single one I have visited has always been friendly, clean, and delicious. However, Christy’s Donuts quickly became my go-to spot for late night coffee and a treat. The service is friendly, the place is clean, and if you visit it late night(before the 9pm closing time) you’ll be sure to catch a cozy spot in an otherwise noisy street. They have everything from donuts(of course), warm drinks, ice cream, chips, and even laundry detergent. If you’re looking for a quick donut at a cheaper price than the local Winchell’s, I would definitely recommend you stop by this mom and pop shop. Make sure to pick up a quick lotto scratcher before you leave.
