I cannot express how highly I recommend Adrian. If you are trying to figure out what you want to do with your career, stop whatever else you are trying and see Adrian immediately. He will save you a ton of time and energy trying other things that likely won’t work and help you find your path.
I cannot thank Adrian enough for helping me find my passion. Honestly, I get choked up thinking about it. It was very painful not knowing what I should be doing with my life. Adrian was very helpful to me as I was thinking through the next steps in my career path. He provided excellent guidance and advice starting from the very first session! He’s helped me clarify and refocus what I want in a long-​term career. Through the process, I learned a lot about myself (how I like to work, strengths, weaknesses, how other people perceive me, etc). I highly recommend Adrian. His online program is totally unique and his approach is founded on the principle that your career should really just be another way to express yourself. I really liked that idea when I first heard it from Adrian, and it kept me focused on careers that were more fitting to my goals and innate strengths. I am deeply grateful to have found a more fitting career in brand management and I hope to start a business down the road. Not only was the online course amazing (if you stick with it!), but he was an exceptional listener and insightful. In combination with the online program, I was able to get to what I wanted in just two in-​person sessions with him. That being said, I did spend a ton of time doing the online work — about 4 months in total. I have NEVER done that much self-​exploration before and I am really grateful that I did because it does take a lot of soul-​searching to know thyself and figure it out. It is still a journey and I don’t have a crystal ball, but I do feel that I am much clearer than before I worked with Adrian and A Path That Fits.

Just to give you my background: I graduated with a bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, and after graduation started my career in trade support (finance). I quickly realized this was a mind numbing job. Simplified explanation — you basically double check trade details for the traders who buy stocks, bonds, etc. Quantity matches? Check. Cash matches? Check. Prices matches? Check. etc. etc. etc. However, I couldn’t find a good way out. I kept climbing that corporate ladder, making more, sinking deeper into the hole. It finally got to the point where I hit a plateau (salary-​wise). Every time a recruiter contacted me, they couldn’t offer me anymore that what I was currently making. I couldn’t blame them, how much can you really pay a double checker? I tried getting into other financial fields — applied to over 50 jobs in financial research, trading associate, research analyst, etc, etc. I finally got the opportunity to learn more about investing and company valuation, but I still felt like something was missing. My backup plan failed, and I had no idea what to do.
As my last hope, I started sessions with Adrian. 70 5 star reviews, and all hidden reviews 5 stars. Despite that I was still somewhat of a skeptic. Some people spend their whole lives looking for their dream job, and to read about others finding their path in a mere few months just seemed absurd to me. But I was willing to try and see what the hype was about.
I did exercises/​homework to find my passions, my strengths, and found jobs that included both. My fear was that he’d tell me to turn my hobbies into a job «Oh! You should become a photographer/​snowboarder/​chef». But he didn’t let me off that easy. I spent a lot of time doing the assignments (the more effort you use outside the sessions, the more you get out of it) and I discovered a field that combined a lot of my strengths and passions — user experience. I took a few classes, then a few more, read a few books. And was finally at a point where I was ready to quit work and attend a UX bootcamp full time.
Then I got a call from a recruiter — for a job that had many similar characteristics to UX. With 40% more pay.
I’m excited to start my new role. And I know if it doesn’t work out, I know exactly what path to take.
I’ve watched other friends struggle with this, and without any guidance seen them jump from wanting to learn data analytics, to getting into finance, then wondering if they should go back to school for their masters. I feel like with this process, your end goal is much clearer. Knowing is a large part of the battle, and I feel that the path will be revealed to you as you look for it. Adrian helps you with both parts — figuring out what you want, and how to get there.

I have undergone career counseling before and A Path that Fits’ program was my best experience by far. The program helps you assess yourself from the ground up and develops 3 personal areas critical satisfaction, then combines them to make a great career fit. This «pre-​work» helped me visualize the answers to questions that used to make me stumble in other programs.
In other words, where most career coaches start at point B and help you figure out point C, Adrian (if you need it) will start with you at point A and prepare you to answer questions in B&C without getting stuck. This back to basics approach was exactly what I needed and helped me dig for answers that previously wouldn’t come. His program is uncanny in how it predicts your feelings and the stages you’ll go through but is also flexible if your feelings arise earlier or later than others. It’s very well designed.
I used the online program with monthly 1:1 meetings and found it to be a great balance between detail and efficiency. I worked full time while doing this and I highly recommend this approach but you also have to be willing to put in the effort. It took a large amount of research, networking, and of course guidance from Adrian but I finally feel confident I’m on the right path.
It’s amazing how clear things look now and I shudder to think how much time I wasted before finding A Path that Fits!

I had just moved to the USA from England. I’d hated my career in the UK as a salesman and needed a change but didn’t know where to start. I’d spent over a year soul searching, desperately needed to identify my new path and getting nowhere. My wife suggested some sort of professional guidance so I looked at life coaches first and quickly realised that wasn’t what I needed. I didn’t want to re evaluate and get better at a job I hated! I met with Adrian at a point in my life where I was facing a big decision– stay in a secure, well-​paying job that encompassed a doctorate and lots of hard work, or follow what I always felt that I was meant to do. As a result, every single time I met Adrian for our sessions, I had exciting news about new achievements to report.
My AFTER situation: I stayed at my job, but improved in ways I never thought were going to happen for me — a temporary transfer abroad that I always wanted to get, but was not considered for; more confidence in my work product, which led others to have more confidence in me and to give me more responsibilities; more fun and better relationships with coworkers; spending more time on projects that will further my career by learning to sometimes say no to projects that won’t teach me anything; and leaning how to ask for things in a reasonable manner, instead of waiting for someone to offer it to me first.

After working with Adrian for roughly two years I thought It time to give a glowing review… I did a fair amount of research and had actually met with another coach before I met with Adrian, and I cannot overestimate the huge impact he has had on my career and personal relationships ever since. I immediately felt that there was something different about Adrian’s process and that he had a natural instinct/​talent few people possess.
When I first started working with Adrian I felt like there was something missing, some loss of meaning in my career. He helped me rediscover things about myself that I had never explored or known, which really reinvigorated my entire approach to not only my work but my entire life. I spent 10 sessions with Daniel Fine last year, and I’m so appreciative that I had to pay it forward by sharing my experience. I’m more in tune with what makes me happy, what fuels me, and I have a clearer path to achieving things previously thought unimaginable.
3. My photography has soared to new heights since discovering with Daniel that photography was something that I really love. It allows me to express my creativity and I realized how important this was when going through this process. Daniel encouraged me to approach my photography with the lightness of a beginner, it took all the pressure off, and I ended up falling in love with photography all over again because I was doing it for me, and for me alone.

I went to Adrian many years ago when I had been out of school and working for 2 years. It would be hard to imagine a better business coach than Adrian. Another Unilocal review states that Adrian is a «dangerously good listener» and I think that is very well put. Somehow he manages to get to the heart of the matter clearly and precisely but with a relaxed manner that left me anything but anxious. One thing I know about myself is that I don’t take criticism well. I often bristle at well meaning suggestions from friends or clients. Adrian is one of those people that has a gift of communication. He is not shy about pointing things out or making suggestions and somehow everything he says comes across without a hint of judgement.

Let me just start by saying that Adrian is absolutely fantastic! I started with A Path That Fits when I was looking to make a career change. I had lots of ideas about what I could do next, but I didn’t have clarity around what I should do.
