Dear S Line(Rest in Peace SA Line), Oh why did you had to cut the service for the SA line! This bus line and all transbay buses are like hidden gems! Here are my top reasons for riding the transbay whenver possible: 1. plenty of room– not only do I get my own seat, but I can stretch my toes and take the seat next to me usually since the bus is never full 2. Clean– I don’t see the beautiful«art» that often plagues MUNI or the trash that fills BART 3. free wireless Internet– I get to surf the Internet and fall asleep doing it with two seats 4. friendlier bus drivers– no cranky folks– since they have a limited # of stops to stop at, they tend to be in better spirits. 5. Quite often cheaper than BART1 way. $ 4 one way. Now if you live in Fremont and take the transbay, that is a steal! Get their monthly transbay pass and save over half your BART commute bill! 6. Love the translink card. Just press and I’m in. No need for change or bills. 7. On Time– With the advent of cell phones, no one is ever on time. You can, however, count on these buses to be on time and to leave on time!(literally…) 8. Comfy seats– they recline! oh yes! there is a reading light! yes! now they just need to put in «mood» lighting and they can be a road version of Virgin Airlines

I take either the S or the SA home to the east bay every single day. With the exception of one time, the buses are always on time, at least within 5 minutes. The buses are like nice tour buses, there is free wi-fi, theres a light above your seat, the seat reclines, the drivers are always nice and friendly. The price is cheaper than bart, and u dont have to deal with the smelly bum guys, ladies with fish in plastic bags, and obnoxious teenagers screaming and texting in your face.
