This review is based off of an in store visit. I normally don’t shop at Aeropostale since I always thought they were priced just like PacSun or JCrew but when I went into this store I was surprised to see that they weren’t nearly close to being priced at that much. No one greeted me when I walked in the store minutes the security that was outside of the store which most of them don’t so I was surprised. Their selection here was a mixed of sale and new things but you couldn’t really tell which was which since most of it was all together. They didn’t have a lot of options to choose from which is shame considering that I like their style of clothing. There is another clearance section in the back of store where they also have summer items like shirts and swimsuits. I thought it was an awkward place to put it and it was a mess so I didn’t spend much time there. I didn’t buy anything there and no one greeted me still or asked if I needed any help while looking around in the store so I walked out. As I walked out the security guard said bye and that was that. Customer service is not very good here and wouldn’t recommend coming here, shop online instead!

*THISREVIEWISBASEDONAEROPOSTALE’S MANAGEMENT/CORPORATION VALUES * Long story short, my friend recently submitted their 2 weeks notice into Aero because their hours were being cut to a measly 0 hours per week. One of the managers said the real reason for this was because my friend was not«fit,» and I mean literally not«fit.» In a medium sized store, I don’t believe my 170lb friend would obstruct the aisles nor would they be unfit or lack the endurance to move from one side to the store to the other. The manager said the type of employees they want working there are ideally thin, which in return will attract thin customers(so any of you 120lb and up customers should realize that they are also targeting you!). I understand that some stores cater to certain types of people, but in the end this is plain old discrimination. My friend was not a customer here, they were an employee, who also purchased clothes that could fit them, mind you. I urge you all to reconsider shopping at Aeropostale, not just for my friends sake, but because of their discriminatory values.

Horrible customer service from online customer service. Online assistance from a Supervisor Robert was unacceptable. He did not listen nor tried to understand what is being said. He made assumptions and conclusions that is very offending. It was my first time using Aeropostale, it will definitely be the last!

Love love love their polos! On a hunt for more than the two measly colors(red & turquoise) I have in my closet, we walked in to find the holy grail! A wall full of every color imaginable and some you can’t get online. I attacked that wall of colorful polos like a fat kid would attack a pool full of Skittles! I pretty much snatched up every color I could find and what I couldn’t I enlisted help. I searched the store for someone that looked like they worked there and then I was approached by this girl that looked 10. Yes, that folks is the sign of getting older when a teenage girl looks like she’s 10 when in actuality she’s more like 16 or 17. Anyway she took down a list of the colors I needed in my size(took her a bit to comprehend that I had already looked on the ‘Skittle Wall’) and scurried to the back. We waited for a bit but it was worth the wait and I got every color I wanted but one. What made this find even sweeter is that they were all 50% off! Now my side of the closet is beaming with color and I can safely say there was no calorie unfriendly candy involved.

The clothes for males are not that nice. I had a coupon for $ 10 off my next 50 or more next purchase and the selection and design are not that great. I prefer going to Hollister, A&F, Bloomingdales, or Macy’s.

Woo Hoo ! aeropostale! i thought i was doomed when they closed in the stonestown location … but then they have one here now. now i don’t have to order online and pay for shipping. Edit: some time ago i went here again and got some of their 6 dollar graphic tees. it may seem pricey when your looking at normal priced items, but when it goes on sale it is worth your money;)
