The AIDS Emergency Fund and Breast Cancer Emergency Fund are two of the best-​run, most amazing charities around! They serve a huge population by providing almost immediate help for people with AIDS and Breast Cancer who find themselves in dire need. They also present huge fundraisers, and work with many hundreds of happy volunteers, seemingly without raising a sweat (well, almost…)!

I love this organization!
I have been volunteering for since August and every time I volunteer, I feel more connected to the work they do.
In general, if you don’t know, they raise money for people who do not have time for bureaucracy and can provide for groceries, a rent deposit, or needed medications.
They are a very caring group of individuals and if you are looking for a place to volunteer and feel most rewarded, this is a great option.
