Hmmm, where to begin?! As we all know, cosmo school and a license does not an artist make– there is a huge difference between someone who cuts hair and someone who approaches your beloved locks as a canvas on which to create art. Alyssa/​AJ is a true artist, and I mean that in the best way possible. After a few sub-​par hair cuts in 2012, I needed someone to breathe life back into my hair. She started doing my hair and I haven’t let anyone else touch it since! I have never been anything but happy with the style and coloring. She is a master at interpreting what I want even when I don’t really know how to say it or when I even honestly don’t quite know what I want. Her makeup skills are also AMAZING– someday when I’m incredibly wealthy I want to hire her to do my makeup every morning ;) She did the hair/​makeup for two of my bridesmaids and they looked incredible, and has done my makeup for a few special occasions. I felt beautiful but not TOO done up with pancake makeup. I cannot say enough good things about her skills, kindness, and professionalism. LOVE!
