Alemany Blvd Dog Park

I love this dog park! Especially the dogs who come here. I usually come in around 11:30−12 and there are a lot of dog walkers that come and bring their dogs, so it’s a dog party! All the dogs are sweet even the big ones, they wouldn’t hurt any small ones. If you have a fear of your small dog being hurt, don’t worry! The walkers and owners (whom are very nice) are always supervising and reassuring that the dogs wouldn’t do anything. And if they did, they’d be leashed or placed back in the vehicle.
Unfortunately, today there is a lady who brought in her Shiba named Shiloh, who kicked my dog for jumping on her and getting her dirty. This is an aggressive attitude towards MY dog and she did it with another dog as well when it was trying to sniff her. Even the professional dog walkers saw this action. I called her out on it and told her that her actions were unacceptable. And it’s a dog park, you’re bound to get dirty, hello! But all she said that my dog jumped on her, blah blah blah. Unacceptable! Just be aware of this lady, she might not take into consideration on what I told her today.

For the city it’s a good place. It’s fenced, and safe.
Not spectacular. One thing to note is that there are a lot of pit bulls that come here. They’re friendly but I was a little worried for the little dog I had with me.

i lived in this neighborhood for so long and never really noticed this hidden gem until i looked for different places for my husky to play. i love bringing him here. There is a big open space for both of my dogs to run around without bumping into each other. there is a bunch of places to sit if you want to relax with your dog. there is a fountain for your dogs outside of the gates. Its actually pretty nice.

Vary small. Perfect for my dog. A bunch of dog walkers come visit here. It’s always a good idea to ask owners if their dogs are friendly. The two gates at the front and the back at helpful. And there’s also a fountain for your dog. I run into the same people all the time. It’s a good environment

The dog park is wedged between two pretty busy streets (Brotherhood and Alemany). I’ve never seen the area very busy but it’s a great neighborhood space to take your dog to play.
The space isn’t spectacular and actually a little sad looking to me since it reminds me of a desert. Space is limited in the city and this space gets the job done.
