I was completely lost as to where to go, and was recommended to Allysyn. She was not only polite and friendly, but she was also very efficient, she got the job done right, extremely quickly. I am volunteer Arabic Interpreter with SFBA and my first assignment was with a Yemeni woman seeking divorce, Alimony, and child support. Allysyn was the lawyer on the case and honestly she was very nice to me and the woman and was very patient with my role as an interpreter. She was very respectful and understanding and always made sure that the client understood her rights and all details of the case through my interpretation. She never looked annoyed or impatient at the time it took to interpret her explanations and instructions.

I called this office to get some advice about my situation with child support. I was looking forward to speaking with her after all the 5 star reviews. She answered the phone and said that she was with a client and that she will call me back in 5 minutes. She never did. I called her back to make sure that she had the right phone number and she told me that she was very busy, but she will call me back in a little bit. I said that I understood and told her to take her time but just make sure that you have my number, and she said yes I do, it’s on my caller ID. Well, she never called back.

Allysyn helped me during one of the most difficult crises of my life when I went through a divorce. She helped me navigate a really scary situation in a very informed and concise way and walked me through the different options I had, including possible consequences of different options. I had total confidence in the decisions she helped me make — I’ve never met a professional with such a passion for helping people through difficult times. I highly recommend her! Ally was a god-​send when I was having trouble with family court. I didn’t have a lot of money at the time, but she was willing to work out an arrangement with me, based on my small income. She held my hand and kept me informed every step of the way. I appreciated it when she was honest with me about what were realistic versus unrealistic goals, and she was right on, every time. I also appreciated that she was sensitive to the emotional charged issues, and kept us on task and moving forward toward a satisfactory resolution.

It is clear that Overton has a keen interest in doing everything necessary to best represent her clients.
