The combination of Vietnamese food, Italian and American is a little weird. I came here for take out on a rainy cold day. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a very friendly waiter(looks like the owner) I ordered 5 spice chicken. It also comes with two slices of garlic bread and salad/soup. The chicken is very flavorful, even without any kind of dressing. They gave me their house dressing but I didn’t need it for the chicken. The portion is huge and I can easily make 2 meals out of it. The garlic bread and salad were average but I didn’t need them to be amazing. I will definitely come back again.

The service gets 4 stars! They were so friendly and nice, my credit card was charged double, but corrected right away. The food was mediocre. It all tasted like it was cooked hours before and then microwaved to rewarm it. Mozzarella sticks, the cheese was not melted. Pasta was bland and boring, nothing too exciting. It was a cute experience, but not worth $ 40 for the two of us to eat.

The staff are super great. The food is super decent for super reasonable prices. Food is always hot when it gets to the table, which is something a lot of restaurants fail on. There is a review below re their prices are«expensive.» Can this guy tell me what buds he has been smoking so that I can get some. The prices are insanely cheap for SF2016. I don’t know how they can make money.

First off– I ordered delivery and it took an hour and 45 minutes to arrive. Ridiculous. I understand things get crazy but I live 5 minutes away from this place. Unacceptable. Then, my roommate had ordered a burger and she bit into it and it was completely undercooked — the meat was literally raw and pink. Disgusting. Needless to say, we will not be ordering here again.

Love their hamburgers, but not their Philly Cheesesteaks.

Expensive food that is of poor quality. I ate a philly cheese steak and the meat was very grizzly. The bread was falling apart. Some crusty bread would of been nice. I needed something delicious and greasy, and my expectations were not met.

I’ve ordered delivery from here a total of 3 times now. For some reason I keep thinking maybe this time the food will come hot and fresh. But it never does. The spaghetti is disgusting the french fries are always soggy my sandwich was soggy. The chef salad comes with raw shrimp and some disgusting deli meat that looks like it shouldn’t even be eaten. Such a waste of money every time I’ve ordered. Their Unilocal rating always tricks me above three stars can’t be that bad, right? Wrong! The food is fucking disgusting. I guess that might be due to the fact that it took an hour and a half for my order to come anyway I’m not ordering from there ever again!

I’ve been coming to this place for about seven years now, and it never disappoints. Their menu is extensive and varied: from American, to Vietnamese, to Italian. I can’t say I’ve tried everything on the menu, but everything I have ever ordered has been tasty and in generous portion sizes. The burgers are two patties on a big french roll. I get them with an order of their pulled pork waffle fries most of the time. Usually can’t eat for a day after that meal. The last time I was there, I saw a guy eating chicken fried steak and rice. Looked great, so I ordered that today. Good choice. The chicken fried steak was flavored and cooked to perfection!

We ordered our breakfast this morning via Eat24 and were pleasantly surprised with our orders. The breakfast meals were large portions but I was specifically impressed with the delivery of the Eggs Benedict. Rare do I take a chance with ordering Eggs Benedict through delivery but my headache demanded it this morning. When the meals arrived they were still piping hot and the Eggs Benedict was superb. The Hollandaise perfectly melded with the English muffin, hash browns, and mushrooms and made for a perfect meal. SO while this amazing meal did not help my headache-turned-migraine, it did keep me fully satiated throughout the day.

Came here a lot during high school, staff was always friendly. They served a variety of vietnamese, american, and italian food. My favorite here was the fettucini chicken alfredo and the philly cheese steak. Don’t come here during school hours as their are high schoolers swarming the streets.

Wow I can’t believe it’s been almost 2 years since I discovered Americana Grill and what a great discovery it was. My go-to meal here is Cioppino with a side of ravioli and let me tell you, this dish, an amazingly plentiful bowl of super fresh seafood in a delicious tomato based slow simmered broth, is an incredible bargain at under $ 20. Served with a green salad, pasta, garlic bread and vegetables, there is easily enough food for 2 people to share, not that you’d want to! I usually have mine delivered and eat it for 2 days. There is actually a huge menu here but I do have my favorite and it never disappoints. Many thanks to Tony for 2 years of delicious Cioppino served with a smile! :)

Lemon chicken! It’s the best thing ever. DOIT. My family and I have been coming here for YEARS and this place has never let us down. It definitely has gotten pricier over the years but their food is great and their portions are generous. They have Italian food, burgers, cheese steaks, and they use to have an entire menu of Vietnamese food but the last time we went they crossed off that section of the menu. I would highly recommend the lemon chicken or the chicken eggplant Parmesan.

This place brought back so much childhood memories when me and my friends use to come here during our high school days. What was special about this place before was the fact that they served Italian and Vietnamese at the same restaurant, side by side! It’s like getting two different cravings satisfied in one spot. However, that is now history when they decided to close down the Vietnamese side of the restaurant and instead of fixing their menu, they just reuse their old menu with big«X» on the page of the menu they no longer serve. So as I looked through the menu to choose what’s left that they DO serve. I noticed they had specials written on the wall too and under the«American’s Special» menu, my fiancé pointed out they have Chicken Garlic Noodle, that sounded really good! Tried to place the order with the waiter and he told me they no longer serve the item. I’m sorry, but that’s clearly listed on your wall with no «X» on it, not crossed out, and you’re telling me that I need to question every item with you before I can actually order? I don’t have time for that, if you decide to restructure your restaurant, take the time to reprint your menu and actually clean up what you’re no longer serving! One thing that I really hate is when a restaurant doesn’t know how to manage their business. It’s not just the matter of serving the food, having good attitude and keeping the restaurant clean. Yes, those are all important factors but what makes successful restaurants are down to its details and you put extra thoughts to give their customers an unforgettable experience. Here I am, walking away with a negative one. No one ever say running a restaurant is easy, but what do I know? I’m just a foodie who has eaten as smaller places that does business right. P. S. It’s been an hour and no one refilled my empty glass of water(even after the waiter came by to ask if my friend wanted to refill her lemonade)

SAVEYOURSELF! Do NOT order from this place! After waiting over an hour for our food, it turns out the eggplant parm melted through the Plastic(gross) container and soaked the bag. Luckily the cold hard jalepeno poppers on top were left dry. My kobe beef burger was either soggy from the wattery marinara sauce or from being taped up in a box with microwaved fries. Seriously, we threw our 40 $ dinner out and are having mac and cheese.

Okay, so I’ve decided to update my review since I’ve basically tried almost their entire menu now via delivery. This is basically the roommate’s go to place for delivery. He knows if he orders from Americana, it’ll be good and we’ll have food for the next couple of meals! I won’t go into detail about everything I’ve tried from Americana, but some of our favs are: Vietnamese menu: –A2. Goi cuon($ 5.95): shrimp, pork salad roll –A4. Cha goi($ 5.95): imperial roll –Dat biet xe lua($ 10.95): special combo with rare slices of steak, well done brisket and flank, tendon, tripe and beef balls Breakfast menu: 3. Breakfast sampler($ 8.95): 2 eggs, 2 bacon and ham with 2 buttermilk pancakes 12. Joe’s special($ 9.95): ground beef, fresh spinach and eggs Full menu: –ABC burger($ 10.95): avocado, bacon and cheese — Normally, we’ll sub Seasoned curly fries for an additional $ 2. –Chicken mushroom($ 13.95): half of a baked chicken, sauteed with mushroom in a white cream sauce — Sometimes I’ll order this with Pesto instead of the white cream sauce for an additional $ 2. –Clam house with linguini($ 16.95): choice of red or white cream sauce — Since I adore Pesto, sometimes I’ll sub Pesto for an additional $ 2. Of course there are many other things I enjoy from Americana, but these are the dishes we frequently order. I’m not saying their food will be the best burger or phở you’ve ever had. But they have consistently delivered solid dishes at great prices and huge portions. My only gripe is their delivery can be a little messy when they are delivering dishes with a lot of sauce, oil, etc, as it sometimes leaks out of the container and your bag ends up an oily mess. But the food itself is never compromised. This is just one of my pet peeves. They have tried to prevent issues like this by lining each container with napkins, so at least there’s an effort to make it neater. I’m also super grateful that they deliver all day! So if I wake up and I’m super lazy, I know Americana will be delivering.(Unlike some of my favorite Thai, Indian, etc, places that only deliver during dinner hours or on certain days.) And I’ve ordered through various delivery sites: , Eat 24, Grub hub, etc. They seem to price all dishes the same on all sites, so I don’t always have to make sure I’m ordering from the cheapest priced site. Thank you Americana for feeding me when I’m being a lazy bum!

I can’t believe people are giving this place more than 2 stars. People need to get out more. I tip my hat towards the variety and portions. Let me paint this picture… Vietnamese, Italian, and American food cooked by a Chinese cook. A recipe for disaster. Our table started with the appetizers: garlic fries, pulled pork fries, and fried zucchini. All of them were good and recommend it. Rib Eye Steak — good price, cooked perfectly, but cut of meat was not the greatest cut and smothered with garlic. The thick layer of garlic was not necessary. If I was forced against my will to come back, I would order this. Unless I want to get full off of appetizers. Sadly, I think I had the best dish at the table. Osso Buco — it was dreadful, they used spaghetti sauce which had way too much herbs and too sweet. It tasted like basil and oregano. They put the same sauce on so many other dishes as well. Osso buco is supposed to have a light brown sauce, not a thick red sauce. The raviolis that came with it was undercooked. And I’m not saying barely al dente, I’m saying uncooked. Ciopinno — they used the same dreadful spaghetti sauce. All the seafood was undercooked. For the location, there are so many better places to go. Don’t be fooled by the variety. Read the reviews first.

Loco Moco? They got it. yummy aromatic phở? They got it. You like grilled cheese sandwiches & chicken wings? They got you covered. Americana Grill & Fountain can cover all the different cravings that you may have. They have Chinese food, Vietnamese food, Italian food and some other different commodities. This local Outer Richmond diner is very spacious as well, and service is very efficient. My uncle and I both ordered the combination phở and loved the broth. The meat left a little bit to be desired, so I would probably try something else next time. CHECKIN on Unilocal for a free soda!

Old school catches up. Not having dined here in probably close to ten years, I suggested coming here for a casual Friday night dinner. Parking can be a challenge(where is it not in the City these days), so come early. It’s been about seven years since I last dined here. The dining room and kitchen are just as the last time. The new things are the tablet used for ordering and a younger waiter(relative?). That REALLY caught me by surprise. I ordered my standby Linguine with clams, red sauce( ). I opted for a cup of clam chowder instead of the salad. We also shared an order of garlic fries, extra crispy( ). Do check in on your Unilocal app and you’ll get a free fountain soda. Everything was as I remember, tasty sauce with sliced mushrooms and chopped clams. At $ 10,95, my pasta dish is fairly priced; forgot that they offer a clamhouse version which includes fresh ‘in shell’ clams for $ 16.95. There were mostly families dining here with kids in tow. A neighboring diner worked on his plate of loco moco which looked very tempting. For hardcore fans of authentic Italian cuisine, this will probably rate around three stars. For those, as mentioned by Wilhelm Y., who grew up on Chef Boy-Ar-Dee, you will probably enjoy the meal like I did. With the closing of Little Joe’s, I’ve been yearning for home style Italian comfort food. This hit the spot!
