My company recently switched to Amernet for our phone and internet, and the experience has been pretty disappointing. They made a huge error at the beginning of our service which left us with only one functional phone line for several weeks, didn’t get our after-hours voicemail recordings correct until we had to ask them about it multiple times over a period of two weeks, are slow(and sometimes non-existent) to respond to questions and issues we call and email about, and when they do respond don’t always seem to get what you’re asking them. I would not recommend this company, unfortunately. EDIT: in the month since I left my review, we have now had our phone service down for an entire day while the Amernet staff was MIA, and currently I am trying to get ahold of our Amernet rep by email and voicemail with no luck for two weeks. I am blown away by how awful this company is.

I am a great fan of FlexMeet, the web conferencing solution provided by Amernet. Where it clearly makes the difference is that there is no plug-in or lengthy preload of applet required. The conference starts instantly and all my invitees can join in a click. It is very intuitive, it fits right into any browser and has become a no-brainer when it comes to engaging with a client or a colleague on-line with either screen sharing, voice and/or webcam. My take away? Fast, reliable, easy.
