Anatoly is a great body worker. We went to him given his specialty with the Bowen method. My wife had done a number on her piriformis muscle, so he sciatica nerve was agonizing her for weeks before we saw him. She should not have taken a 10 day trip and tried many other modalities before seeing him. Consequently, her inflammation was so great, his ability to fix her was undermined. Still he helped her so much that we returned for four treatments. Each time, she showed improvement, but it was going to be many more weeks or months before she was healed. She was extremely receptive to his kind and generous treatments, his keen knowledge of the body and his incredible experience with giving people mobility where it has been lost. My wife would arrive in extreme pain and leave feeling a lot better, even if still in pain. His treatments gave her the room to be able to continue to go to work. We had paid for five treatments, but after four, he gave us back the rest of our money with the greatest sense of humility and told us that she really needs to seek medical care because she was healing too slowly. We agreed that he had done all that he could and yet we acknowledge that his treatments had helped her to better understand just how much damage she had done. The primary care doctor wanted to prescribe ten days of predinosone after saying that she had no idea what the problem was. My wife knew better than to fall for that one and she declined. She already had been on muscle relaxers and pain killers and did not want to tax her organs any further. Then the doctor referred my wife to an osteopath who was as highly skilled a bodyworker as Anatoly is and she picked up precisely where he left off. She said he had helped to stabilize my wife who over many years(my wife thought just one incident) had developed an extremely severe case of left-twisted, backward(or posterior) sacral torsion. Anatoly was the first to discover, identify and demonstrate that problem to us. For this reason, we are extremely greatful to Anatoly. My wife has seen the osteopath for two sessions, and we have two more scheduled. She still has lots of pain in mornings and evenings as before but her range of motion is gradually improving. It is the nature of her injury that slow healing is the rule. We are eternally grateful for the thorough and incisive care that he gave my wife. His bedside manner was amazing, he is kind to us both, he gave more than he had to and he offered the refund with absolute graciousness. When I need body work I plan to return to him and my wife is just as willing to work with him again. So, in no way is this a bad review; I am writing to say that all practices have natural limits and Anatoly stretched his amazingly far to help my wife and to give us good advice on what next steps to take. It was money very well spent and we traveled nearly fifty miles to see him once a week.
