Anna Fizyta Polaroid Transfer Workshops

I’m definitely going to be back!
Let’s be honest here. I’m by far the least artistic one of my friends but Anna’s workshop definitely gives me a leg up.
My favorite parts of the workshop
1. You never know what kind of vintage look your transfer will have but you know that it will have character and be artistically pleasing
2. How simple the process is — Anna is not only a patient teacher but she has perfected the process and shares her wisdom
3. You get to use your own photos! Talk about personalizing…
Polaroid Transfers make the perfect present or artwork to hang up at home. Why pay boatloads of money for someone else’s vintage picture of Golden Gate bridge when you can make your own and have the memory of a booze cruise behind the photo?
Gave it to my dad as his bday present and he loved it.

I just took a private workshop with a small group of friends. It was great! Really fun and no previous experience necessary. Its a really great way to turn any regular digital photos that you might have into unique and personalized pieces of art. We each got to take home 7 or 8 artistic photos that ill be framing and hanging up to decorate. Anna was really nice and down to earth, and fun to hang out with. Would highly recommend this as a fun group activity, great casual atmosphere and a fun and interesting technique!

I went into Anna’s workshop with a little bitty memory of doing Polaroid transfers back in college. But that had been a long time ago, and I wasn’t sure what I was getting myself into.
Fortunately Anna was patient and friendly as an instructor. She didn’t assume that I was a complete beginner, or that I was some kind of expert. She listened and responded to questions perfectly. I was happy that she didn’t hover over my every moment of the workshop, but also she was very available for help when I needed it.
And wow, the art we made! These little prints are so precious! I have them hanging in my office at work, and many people have commented about how great they are.
The entire experience was very positive, and I highly recommend it. Well, everything except parking… take MUNI!

Great workshop where you get to use your own or provided slides of beautiful pictures and make your own art. I came with nothing and took home 6 pieces of art! I can’t wait to frame them and put them up. VERY reasonably priced. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere. No need to be an art buff or know anything. Great activity to give as a gift, or be like me and make your own unique art as gifts!
Anna is a very sweet and patient teacher who can inspire even the most artistically-​challenged person.
