I’ve been seeing Sandra for massages for a few years now. She’s the best kept secret in the Marina! Her massage space is so relaxing and her lotions/​oils smell amazing. It’s the perfect space to retreat to after a long or stressful day. She’s an expert at what she does. Definitely go see Sandra!

Stop what you’re doing and go see Sandra if you have muscle or joint pains and need work done.
As a white male with first world problems, I decided on a business trip to SF to go see her for massage therapy to reduce my knee pain that stems from being tall and a runner.
Sandra was knowledgeable, attentive, and excellent, and I’ve been to a dozen or so top massage therapists as I keep working on a way to solve my first world problem — runner’s knee pain.
Sandra’s thoughtful bodywork was exactly what I wanted. Thank you, Sandra.

I don’t typically write Unilocal reviews until I’ve had a few experiences with the business. I’ve had four massages from Sandra and they have been consistently awesome!

Sandra is amazing! She is conveniently located on Union Street in a clean building that is upstairs away from the street noise. She is available via text for last minute appointments or to schedule your next massage. Sandra is very easy going, super friendly and accommodating. In addition she has been practicing massage for a long time and she has the certificates on the wall from various schools abroad to prove it. She will instantly make you comfortable and put you at ease for her relaxing massages which are fantastic!!! The small room has relaxing music and she uses a heating pad if you need it. I also like the aromatic lavender oils she used. She is good at finding your knots and working them out. Prices are also very reasonable and she offers deals on packages as well. All in all a really great place to get an excellent massage for a good price! Sandra is a sweet person who has experience that shows.

I subtracted a star from what would have otherwise been a 5 star massage because Sandra put down an incorrect time for my appointment. I went for my 3:00 appointment and then was told she mistakenly put me down for 5:00. However, she did make up for it by giving me an additional 15 minutes to my appointment.
She really is an excellent therapist and I would recommend her. She worked out all the knots in my shoulder and back and had excellent firm pressure. The Unilocal site says she works Sundays. She told me she does not.
Will be going back.

Hands down the best massage I’ve ever had. And I’ve had a LOT. I have chronic back/​neck issues and Sandra is the only person who has ever been able to fully relieve my pain. Her technique is both effective and relaxing. And she’s a total sweetheart which puts you at ease and makes it an enjoyable experience.

Sandra is so in touch with the body it is amazing! I’ve been to many practitioners over the years all using a variety of styles. She has managed to draw from all of the best and apply an expert approach to realignment. Enjoy!

I was having terrible trouble with my back seizing up and my regular massage guy was having his tooth out, so booked an appointment with Sandra based on Unilocal reviews.
I was so happy with the result — the pain was still there (but even vicodin didn’t get rid of it, so it’s no wonder!), but I was so much more flexible. She was intuitive, knowledgeable about a ton of different techniques, and (possibly the most important) friendly and welcoming. I really got the sense that she cared about what she was doing.
Although I probably won’t be working in the area much longer, I am definitely going to visit Sandra again when time allows!

So thrilled to have found Sandra! She is so knowledgeable, intuitive and… awesome! I’m a deep tissue kind of gal and after trying different massage therapists and spas for the last two years, Sandra is hands down (no pun intended) the best. She really listens to you and your body… when I tell her what parts need the focus, I have a feeling she already knows. I love that the room is warm, relaxing and serene — so different from the clinical feel of most places. (Oh! And like another reviewer said, it’s olfactory zen in there.) And even though it’s always a vigorous deep tissue massage (perfect pressure by the way), I’m so relaxed afterwards. I walk out of there a happy little jellyfish every time! Big ups for the online booking and that her website desires the different techniques. Not only is she amazing at what she does, Sandra is also so warm and welcoming. I heart this place!

Went to Sandra last night because I’ve been having some lower back pain and, well, who doesn’t want a massage?! All I can say is WOW! Sandra gave me one of the best massages I’ve ever experienced! Here’s the breakdown… the room was cozy, warm, smelled wonderful and I liked the sound of the small water fountain. The «bed» was super warm and I really liked the soft blanket. A nice change from the usual scratchy sheets I’ve had at other places. I told Sandra that I’m not a big fan of deep tissue, but want my knots worked out. She massaged with the perfect amount of pressure. I was totally relaxed and in heaven, all the while she was working out my stress. When she was done I was knot free, my lower back pain felt so much better, and in addition to being totally relaxed I was in the best mood ever! Of course, getting a massage always puts me in a good mood, but I was just plain happy! I really can’t say enough about Sandra… you just have to go get a massage from her to understand. I usually treat myself about once every other month to a nice massage and now I’ve finally found a regular masseuse!
FYI though… she doesn’t accept credit cards, so make sure you’ve got enough cash on hand!

Sandra is a guru of massage, very talented and thorough. I received a 1 and ½ hour hot stone massage from her after my sister’s dual lung transplant. Needed some decompression time from the crazy weeks visiting UCSF. Massage and technique were great. Midway thru the massage, a fuse popped and the music and stone heater went out. Then I began to hear all the noise outside of the room, conversations, foot traffic etc… Despite the change of harmonious scenery, Sandra continued on and gave me what I needed.
Cheers to her and I look forward to visiting her again when I return.

Sandra is such a gem of a find in this city! I’ve had my share of massages in San Francisco, both at home studios and spas, and I must say that my best experiences have been at Sandra’s place. She really listens to what you tell her about your body, and her years of professional experience shine through with her knowledge and use of various techniques. I love how she incorporates hot stones! You’ll just have to try it and see what I mean. Once again, my body feels healthy and happy. I can’t wait for my next visit!

I have received a handful of massages from Sandra, and I’ve come away very satisfied every time. Sandra is very professional, highly qualified, and — of course — a certified massage therapist. She’s trained in many different techniques, and I give her my warmest recommendations.

Simply put: Sandra’s awesome! When I look for a massage therapist, I look for someone that has mastered a variety of techniques — both Western and Eastern — and is able to mix and match as needed. Sandra is that person. Also, she’s pretty flexible when it comes to scheduling appointments (something I probably take advantage of a bit much) and parking’s super easy. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED IN ALL CAPS!

Having only had massage work done at larger spa facilities previously, I was skeptical of attending a smaller practice. She has made me feel completely comfortable in her private practice massage studio, and has been able to schedule appointments with me last minute, and during off hours, which is a dream!
