We stayed at the hotel but after exploring our last day decided to have a drink and watch the Blazer/Warrior game. There was only one bartender so it took a while to get to us. We weren’t in a rush but he was a bit slow. I won’t fault them too much as it was a Sunday in the financial district. We orders drinks and the chips. The beers come in 22oz bottles which I loved. They had some excellent selections available and I tried something new. The chips come with blue cheese and bacon drizzled on them… They are really good and I’d highly recommend ordering to share. Overall it was a good bar and I’d stop by again if I were in the area.

It was pretty chill on a Saturday night when we wanted a late night bite before hitting the hay for RNRSF… The moscow mule was on point(and had a nice pour). The chicken caesar was good, but nothing to stand out. However, blue cheese chips… YES! Crisp house-made chips with a good load of melted blue cheese over it. They did a good job of getting the cheese throughout the chips(sometimes you only find on the top layer). Our server was friendly and very on top of things… she was attentive, but also let us enjoy our time in quiet.

Stayed at the Le Meridien and went down to Bar 333, the only place open for dinner on New Year’s day. A couple of issues with this place: 1. It was freezing cold. 2. Repetitive electronic music was irritating and unfortunately, this was the choice of music throughout the entire hotel. 3. Nothing really healthy on the menu. Ordered chicken for $ 28 and it looked like it came out of a microwave — frozen dinner style. Very disappointing overall. Giving an extra star only due to the nice servers who tried to make up for crappy food and atmosphere.

This place is your typical nice hotel bar. The staff is super friendly. The bartender opened the bar a few minutes early for me, which was cool. The appetizers and drinks are good.

Stop by for a drink to kill some time prior our Flamenco show. Great service by JC and the drinks were amazing as well the appetizer. Definitely coming back and strongly recommended!

09.24.15 Super chill hotel bar in FiDi with solid happy hour drink specials and food. House wines are $ 6. We ended up with a bottle of prosecco(it was a celebratory occasion) for $ 38. The chairs are really comfortable and the ambiance really allows for conversations without yelling over one another. I shall return.

Bar 333 is my favorite place for happy hour. It is a quality bar, but not just because of the nice, clean, lively atmosphere and good, decently-priced drinks. I go there because of the bartenders: Wei, Emma, Dave, JC, Seth, and Manny. They are pros, the perfect hosts who remember you and your drink, sometimes even making it for you before you’ve settled onto your stool! They always give a smile and say ‘Hi’ when you walk in. And, they take time to talk with you too; there’s a really positive vibe. When it’s busy, and it often is, they are hard-working, but still seem to remain calm and friendly. And, whether it is hotel guests from out of town, or locals stopping in after work, I always end up meeting nice people and having great conversations. It is my first choice for after-work happy hour.

In thirds. One third loud space: Or perhaps it was the boisterous post-work crowd. You can escape in a variety of seating from high tables to comfortable chairs. Expect a stale hotel ambiance. One third drinks and bites: Moscow Mule and margarita pizza. Refreshing on the former and really enjoyed the thin crust and balance of cheese and sauce on the latter. One third paying for those drinks and bites. Will never understand the double digit($ 12) cocktail. Pizza for $ 13 was actually a pretty good deal. In for three stars.

Exactly what I needed — dinner at 10 pm on Saturday night near embarcadero. Amazing value for food in a cozy upscale hotel bar setting. My crispy salmon with veggies was real good for 20 bucks all-inclusive. Dawn the server was super nice. Nothing unique — just solid.

Sleek, modern bar attached to the hotel and between North Beach &SOMA. Come here when gathering a big group — there are big tables, comfy seats, and great opportunities for photos when you’re looking good. The drinks are reasonable, and you’d be smart to order the Moscow Mule.

Food is delicious, service is on point, and very nice atmosphere. I’ve been here on a few occasions and they come through every time. I will say that I’ve only ordered wine from here, never any cocktails, so not too sure how the drinks are.

I really like the ambiance of this spot. It’s chic yet cozy. The colors in the hotel lobby(Le Meridian) are soothing and really chill. Came here with my fiancé on a Saturday early afternoon with a Travelzoo deal. We enjoyed: –Slider trio: Pulled pork slider, crab cake slider, beef slider. Came with fries. Yum! –Meatball. Came with few pieces of bread. The quality of the food is really good. Drinks are kind of pricey. My mojito was $ 11.95, fiancé’s Hangar One martini was $ 14.95. Bartender was nice. Service was good. It’s a good deal if you buy the Travelzoo deal, but I probably wouldn’t come here on the regular. Oh, and they have tvs above the bar so you can watch the game. Overall, cool, chill spot to check out. Could get busy if there’s an event going on and people are staying at the hotel.

Went here after procuring a Travelzoo gift certificate and was very happy I did so! The kiwi sparkling martini was excellent(as expected, as anything with champagne and midori sounds good in my book). Also had the charcuterie and the bread and butter(mostly hot hawaiian-type dinner rolls that are slathered in butter… which are very good). Prices are a bit on the pricy side for what the food was, but the drinks were definitely interesting and the bar is nicely decorated. It helped that I had a coupon. Also had the aged godfather(pretty interesting whiskey cocktail — but whiskey is not my thing) and two wonderful light frothy drinks(potrero flip and the pineapple pisco sour). Of the two, I would probably go with the potrero flip since it’s a bit less sweet than the pineapple pisco sour — but both cocktails were delicious. I’d probably come back for the cocktails but not sure if I would order food again.

Swanky and cool. They have a great happy hour so check it out if you work in the area. I liked the mixed nuts and the olives they give you. Far cry from what the Park Hyatt looked like in the past. I had the vegetarian flat bread and a beer the last time I was there. The staff is very nice and friendly. I like the décor, very sleek and intimate. Che, check, check it out!

Food: I ordered the dungeness crab cakes, which were exquisite. The spices and crab flavor mixed with the sauce they put on top created a great lunch. The salad on the side was delicious as well with orange slices, radishes, lettuce, and onions. My friend ordered a flatbread with sun-dried tomatoes, mushrooms, artichokes, and cheese. This was quite tasty as well. Ambiance: this place seems like it would be better at night since it is more of a bar than a restaurant. Since we went around 1PM, it was quite empty and quiet.

It stinks I had to give this great bar such a low rating. Came in a while back and had a deliteful martini crafted by Manny, so I absolutely had to get another since I was staying in the hotel again. The beau and I popped in before heading up to our room for the night. I distinctively remember how amazing the cucumber martinis are at this place, so I had to grab one. The bartender David, came right up to us, and got our order right away. The man can make a mean martini! Cheers to that! We had asked the other bartender CJ if we could see a food menu, and not only did he roll his eyes and tell us to «WAIT» he was snappy when he said it was too late, and we’d have to order room service. Look I get it, not everyone loves their job, but when you get service like that it makes the entire expierence awful. The bar itself is a gorgeous setting in an awesome location right in the middle of the Financial District. I’d definitely recommend this place for a drink after work or even meeting up with a friend or loved one.

If you’re staying at Le Meridien and want to stay close to base, but still have access to decent food and drinks, this is a good bet. For an on-property hotel bar, it’s not bad. A little dated and in need of refresh, it delivers a comfy atmosphere for a business meeting, nightcap after a long day sightseeing, or casual post-meeting chat with co-workers. The drink list(beer, wine and cocktails) is decent. Great happy hour until 7pm. Basically similar menu to the upstairs restaurant with plenty of things to choose from and good options for sharing. The people watching is fun as many of the hotel’s patrons enter through 333 doors to get to hotel elevators.

How could Bar 333 not be 3 stars when it’s got 3 threes right in the name? It would of been easy to saddle it with an a-ok 3 stars but compared to most hotel bars, 333 is a cool upgrade. Have a drink and let me tell you why. Triple 3 is located in the lobby of the Le Meridien Hotel. The bar itself isn’t a destination; however, for meetings or a nightcap, Bar 333 is a very nice choice for guests of the hotel. It’s a chic modern bar open til midnight with big comfy seating, communal tables, or small private spots for two. The bar isn’t really large, but, then again, it doesn’t need to be. A wide range of appetizers, sandwiches, salads, and full dinner menu options are available from the hotel. We didn’t try any while sticking to some glasses of wine after dinner nearby. Bartender/Service was fine. Nothing special was really needed, so, it fully met expectations for service. Despite the address being 333 Battery, Le Meriden should consider renaming this hotel lobby bar to Bar 444 because it is contemporary 4-star hotel hangout for a drink or small meeting.

Came here for a low key spot for cocktails. It’s located in the financial district and it’s pretty quiet on Friday/Saturday nights. There’s bar seating as well as booth lounge seating with coffee tables. The bar is in a trendy/modern hotel and to get to the bathroom, you have to walk up a flight of stairs. The service was slow and the food was mediocre. I had the deviled eggs and crab cakes. They provide a complimentary bar snack which were these small crumbled ruffled potato chips. The cocktails were pretty good but not strong. Overall, good ambience for an intimate date night, but other than that it’s not worth going for other than happy hour.

Not bad for an after work happy hour place! The décor is modern and upscale. Does not feel like a hotel bar at all. The happy hour prices are great for the financial district and the staff is attentive. There was a snafu in my bill but it got sorted out. Will be back for another round!
