Stumbled upon this spot while visiting San Fran last week and we’re so pleased we did! Only planned to pop in for a quick mimosa with a girlfriend, and next thing we knew had spent our entire afternoon enjoying Ryan’s wonderful hand crafted cocktails and snacking on gourmet cheeses! His cucumber vodka gimlet was out of this world and the jalapeño margaritas he made us had the perfect kick! We so enjoyed our time and will definitely be in on our next trip to town!

SECURITYWARNING: Women please watch your purse. We were sitting on the street side patio tables. I was sitting on the bar side with my back to the inside table. My purse was on the back of my chair– I wasn’t going to put it on the ground… lesson learned. The man sitting at the table behind me knocked over his beer and hit my purse. I turned around and he apologized. Classic pick pocket move. A few minutes later my friends told me to check my purse. He took my wallet. In less than 30 minutes he took 2 cab rides and spent $ 1500 at Best Buy, Office Max and Walgreens. The police were nice, the hotel/bar had cameras they shared. The bar was generous to discount our bill so I was appreciative of that. Moral of the story, keep your purse in your lap.

Great place, with dim lights, I went there in the evening. The bartender(Cindy) was really friendly, and I love the way she makes margaritas. There is also a happy hour between 5−7PM with $ 5 cocktails which is a pretty good deal. The bar is maybe too small(for 10 people no more).

Norcini is a cute bar located in the Villa Florence Hotel. On a beautiful day you can sit outside and enjoy some delicious dishes with wine. We had the Duck Pappadelle Bolongnese and the Tomato Basil Soup were amazing. The wine selection was good and the service was impeccable. Thank you Norcini for a great experience.

The wine was good and the location is perfect BUT the bartender was not attentive. Also, they were out of moscato!!! The bartender forgot one of the drinks we ordered and he seemed snotty.

Locals beware! I was working in an office nearby and just wanting something good for lunch. I asked for a to-go menu and was told(before I even had a chance to look) that they only have very small boxes and chances are that anything I ordered wouldn’t fit! So I guess their business model only includes gouging tourists! Run!

I liked my food(kale Salad) but it’s an odd set up. Order, pay and then find a seat. The BIG problem I had was hearing the ONE person behind the bar in charge of serving the WNTIRE restaurant, tell people coming in «it’s going to take me a long time to make your food, I have a lot of orders to make» I saw 4 sets of couples walk out, exactly what she wanted, but I’m sure not what the owner wants to hear.

This is such a welcoming little bar, always greeted with a smile and a tasty wine recommendations, if your craving something sweet try a chocolate strawberry or chocolate chip cannoli. I try to stop in a few days a week to take advantage of their happy hour specials.

We stopped in for a drink, a pizzetta, and some gelato, and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Comfy chairs after a long day of sightseeing are most welcome, and we like watching the folks walking along Powell outside. Nice staff.

Came in with 5 other people. First the waiter refused to let us push tables together claiming it was a fire hazard. Then when we tried to order happy hour bruschettas he said it would take a while even though it was nearly empty and asked if we were in a hurry. We walked out.

We often stay at the Villa Florence, so it’s nice to grab a coffee and a pastry in the morning. I also had a nice charcuterie plate in the afternoon while starting up the happy hour. I don’t know if you’d go out of the way to come here, but it’s definitely a nice place to relax while in the hotel.

It was a last minute decision, not knowing much about it. Sat outside to take advantage of the nice weather and people watching opportunity. You can also enjoy viewing the SF cable car passing by if you don’t mind the bells sounds. Wait staff was very friendly and service was good. I believe this café is part of the Villa Florence Hotel.

It’s Wednesday night. Obviously the day to let the wine flow! Cute little gem in this metropolis part of SF. Sat in the corner for some intimate time and to people watch. An opportunity presented itself and the date and I decided to try everything possible, apparently. WINES: We were recommended some wine to pair with our meat and cheese platter. The sommelier was on point with picking which whites and reds I would enjoy, based on my noob wine palate. Not sure what I drank, but it was a type of red that started with a ‘P’ with hints of tobacco flavor(…or something). I also tried a Riesling white wine. Both great and enjoyable. EATS: Cheese and Meat Platter: A lot more filling than I would imagine. Our server prepared quite an elaborate cheese and meat plate for us that we thoroughly enjoyed. Detailed explanation of everything on the plate eased me into the world of specialty, fermented delicacies. Minestrone Soup: Nomz! My date was not a vegetable guy and he enjoyed the soup. Stuffed with all the things that are good in the garden. Minestrone done right. Pizza: A small, 6 slice pizza topped with red peppers and sausage baked on top of a flat-enough crust. At this point, I’m already stuffed, but I had two slices just because it was so dericious. DESSERTS: Fruit Tart: Topped with a mountain of mangoes, strawberries, cantaloupe, honey dew, and pineapples. Not your traditional fruit tart. Crust was strong and not mushy, always a good sign. Just the right amount of custard thingy. Great way to end the night. Lemon Bar: I’ve never been a fan of lemon-themed desserts. This lemon bar did not change my mind. The texture was quite nice though. Overall a good, relaxing time was had at Bar Norcini. Great spot to stop by and smell the roses.

Great place for a quick lunch. I had the Mediterranean veggie salad, with lots of kale, which was cut into tiny ribbons, so it was manageable to eat, cucumber, artichoke hearts, eggplant, and roasted red peppers, with a lemon chile vinaigrette. It was exactly what I wanted – light and nutritious, and it was served with several slices of tasty bread with olive oil and balsamic. Sit by the window for some highly entertaining people watching!

We grabbed some dessert and pre-dinner drinks at this café located inside a hotel lobby. Loved the tiramisu and the filling inside the canoli but not the shell. $ 8.50 for a well drink but you can get the signature drink for $ 5 when you check in on Unilocal at the restaurant next door and bring it over.

Happened to be in town on business and needed a snack while waiting for an appointment. I wasn’t up to putting in a lot of effort of finding a good spot to eat, and since this place was nearby, settled on Bar Norcini. I had a mini pizza and iced tea. The food was disappointing and expensive. There are so many other places with better tasting food that are worth your monies. Next time I’d deal with my grumbling tummy and find a better place to eat

This bar is located almost in the lobby of a hotel. Perfect to enjoy a good wine with a plate of charcuterie and cheese. For the French way, you will agree that it’s a bit expensive compared to taken in France. But is the price to pay for the«French touch» in San Francisco. Perfect for a cocktail buffet supper. Attention few tables. Open for lunch and dinner.
