Bunch of different knick knacks for super cheap. The upstairs is different than any other store because it’s a well organized toy store.

Awesome store, you can find tons of cool S*** here for real cheap. Also, they carry many hard to find Pop vinyl figures for fairly priced compared to others around. I come here for souvenir type gifts for friends and for utensils like chop sticks and ramen spoons, all of which are usually less $ 2 each. If you stop by, make sure you give this stores inventory the the time it deserves while you browse, if you walk through too quickly;you may miss some good items.

A true shame. This used to be my favorite place to pick up fireworks for 4th of July/New Years parties, and get gifts for people. On the 31st of Dec. I walked in to this store only had about 2 minutes before a woman from the store ushered me out for«not having an adult with me» as if I was some mischievous youngster ready to steal everything this store has. I’m a fifteen year old respectable, polite teen and I didn’t protest as she lead me out. Getting kicked out for being under 18 has never happened to me at this store. A few weeks later I came back to test something. I held my wallet in my hand and walked in the store. The owner spotted me and walked over to take me outside. I opened my wallet and pulled out two 20s as if I was ready to buy something. She immediately backed off. Moral of the story: if you’re under 18 either come with cash or get kicked out(or just don’t come at all.)

Chinese and souvenir novelties are what this place is all about. Nice to drop in and absorb the products displayed. No use for any of these things unless you’re gonna go back to work and plop them on a co-worker’s desk. I’m not into the trendy souvenir things but my wife loved them. Picked up gifts for the nieces and nephews.

Like all the other reviews for this store, it’s a pretty average place. This is a great store to be if you’re looking for souvenirs for a reasonable price. This store has three floors, surprisingly. I was just expecting a one-story store. The first floor was full of souvenirs, especially for tourists. It highlights a lot of San Francisco’s tourist areas. They sold key chains, magnets, etc. Initially, I thought the first floor was kind of crowded and there was only one employee on the register while a line formed. The second floor was more for home decorations. The third floor had multiple selections of toys. The upstairs was a bit smaller than the rest of the other floors.

This location, currently Bargain Bazaar, has been a long-time Chinatown favorite of mine. The basic store set-up is: Ground floor: souvenirs, snacks and general chotchkie-level merchandise. Basement: Asian souvenirs, décor and housewares. 2nd(smaller) floor: toys and novelties. Since becoming Bargain Bazaar(it used to be another«Bazaar», «Peking Bazaar» or something like that…) their inventory has slightly changed– some for the better, some for the worse. I love that the main floor now has a wall of masqurade masks and a rainbow of wigs for sale for us cosplayers. But I’m bummed at the 2nd floor now replaced the awesome animé collectibles they used to sell for POP! Vinyl figures and Frozen merchandise. …guys, come on, you were the only shop in Chinatown where I could find animé figurines, whereas I can swing a Elsa doll and hit a dozen shops selling those freakin’ POP! toys. Boo hiss boo.

Unilocal365CHALLENGE2014−(246÷365) «Tourist Trap In Chinatown» If you’re looking for souvenirs, this place has got it all! Located in San Francisco’s Chinatown, this is a neat place to come and check out if you need to walk off dinner, or kill time before dinner which is what we did. The first level has all your touristy San Francisco/Chinatown themed stuff(They even have fireworks!?) My favorite place is upstairs where there are tons of cool toys and collectibles. Star Wars, Transformers, Marvel, Frozen, Bobbleheads, Despicable Me… etc. they’re all here with kitschy, retro, and throwback toys all in one. This is one of the spots that you can get a good laugh out of, take you back in time, and make you spend money on stuff you don’t necessarily need ALOHA!!! Shaka Meter: \uuu/\uuu/\uuu/3

Wasn’t sure if the saleslady spoke English, so I just held a paw up like #manekinekbro statuettes. Bunch of pigs and lions(dragons) on the street level, but all the cats are downstairs, along with a surprising selection of dreamcatchers. Upstairs is all about toys, including Star Wars and an apparently sought-after lineup of bobbleheads. Guess what else. Drag queen wigs.
