Larry is very professional, warm and personable. He looked over my items with interest and he paid me well for them. His office is very businesslike but pleasant, with a lovely watercolor and a view of a garden in back. Good location and easy street parking. I will definitely be a repeat customer and I recommend him highly.

Went to see Larry for an estimate on sterling silver flatware my Mom needed to sell. Checked out the local gold/​silver buyers in the my area and the other city locations and found that Larry offered the best deal. Besides the best deal, he’s a really nice and honest guy and we really enjoyed our visit with him. I’m glad we found him on Unilocal and will always refer others to him in the future!

I have been trying to sell a ring for some time now but given a horrendous experience from another «consignor» I was scared away from taking it anywhere else, until this weekend
We entered the shop & were immediately assisted. It’s setup much like an office — no visible stock or anything for resale — this seemed to be strictly a place to sell your items to them
My ring was inspected & the quote I was provided was about 5.5% of the ring’s appraised value
This whole selling-​jewelry-​thing is brand new to me & I definitely knew not to expect retail prices, or even wholesale but sure was hoping for something more than 5.5%. So the ring came back home with me.
But giving credit where credit is due, I was warned that the quote would be low, due to certain «measuring criteria» & I was also advised it would probably be better to keep the ring at this point — and after hearing the offer, he was right
I super-​appreciated the time & attention I received while I was at the shop as well as the honesty & the friendly demeanor by which criteria was explained that caused the quote to be so low.
I might consider coming back if looking for an item to sell & that makes this place A-​OK for me

This place is all class A+++. Warm, nice and respectful. I brought in a bunch of stuff and I wasn’t even sure if it was silver or silver plate or junk. It was so nice to meet someone who had a olé on his face and still had a warm smile after we discovered it was all silver plate. A great place — go there to sell anything. You will be treated well and fairly.

Larry was awesome! Took his time explaining the break down of things and made me feel confident about my decision. He was very easy to talk to and I felt like there was no BS. I did my research before going to him and I knew that the pawn shops were offering me way less than what my piece was worth. Larry didn’t do that to me, he was very honest. I got rid of a piece I never wear and walked away with some cash. Winning! *Side note office was very clean and I felt safe.

Most of these reviews mention services from Larry, but unfortunately I received services from Rowry. My first impression of him was already a turning point of me wanting to leave. He shook my hand and gave this hysterical laugh when he heard my name as if my name was a joke. He was very unprofessional by addressing me as «missy» and did not get to the topic of my gold as he was consumed with telling stories about himself. In addition, he was condescending in his speech, they way he shared his knowledge about gold was under the assumption that I had no knowledge or little knowledge of my own. He was sure that he was giving me the best deal in town. I went a to another business prior to my visit with Rowry, the gentleman barely spoke an offered me 800 dollars more than what Rowry offered. Overall, I was very disappointed and offended with Rowry’s unprofessionalism.

I have nothing negative to say about my experience with Bay Area gold and silver buyer. Larry is a straight forward guy that will give u the most for your precious metals compared to the «other sf gold buyer». Larry offered me $ 900.00 more than they did.
