I needed to print several documents from a thumb drive for my job, and the closest place I could find was the Bayview Webspot on 3rd at Kirkwood. When I stopped in early in the afternoon, no one was there except for the owner, who was very friendly. I didn’t have any change and the store doesn’t take debit or credit cards, so the gentleman generously allowed me to print my documents without any charge. They offer lots of services including computer rental and repair for very reasonable rates. The storefront is very clean and comfortable, and the location is convenient to the eastern neighborhoods as it is located a few steps from a T-Third streetcar station and is close to the 54 Felton bus line. San Francisco needs more businesses like this one — they really provide some cool and innovative services that help expand access to technology for low income folks in the Bayview, and I look forward to visiting them more in the future.

Bayview Webspot is a Bayview hotspot. Independently owned. Innovative. Values-driven business model. Great location on Third Street… close to the Opera House, library, Quesada Garden, SECF and more. And the best thing about Webspot? FJ, the owner/operator!

Check out Webspot — a pioneer in bridging the Internet divide in Bayview. Prices are reasonable, and the space is safe, clean and lively. Best of all is the breadth of services, from Internet access to faxing/copying to computer training courses to burning CDs & DVDs. FJ and staff are attentive, smart and nice. The more business that Webspot gets, the longer it can extend its hours. Be a part of that positive cycle. Visit the Webspot today!

This place is great. The owner-operator is a knowledgeable, nice east coast import named FJ. It’s a real treat to have a business like this in the neighborhood. On a street dominated by liquor stores, liquor stores, ghetto t-shirt stores and barbecue restaurants, this shines and defies stereotypes about working-class neighborhoods. I would give it 5 stars, but, my only complaint is the hours, Tuesday through Saturday 1 – 7(I think)… Man, to really be a great community resource, the hours need to be extended and 7 days. However, all said, great place, good job FJ!

An Internet Café in the heart of the Bayview that offers a program called Surf 4 Success where members can earn points towards the purchase of technology. Cool atmosphere, free workshops and very inviting. I like the $ 0.75 coffee as well.
