after 3 broken washers and 3 hours washing one load, my complaints to the worker resulted in her calling me a «vagabundo» and «pinche guerro»
never coming here again.

It’s a good and clean laundry mat. :) However, their wifi is not working. :(
There are some nice coffee shops around here.

This place has soooo much potential! Today only half the washers work: ⁹⁄₁₈. Only one dryer down: ¹⁄₁₈.
Yes: the change machine works, only ripped off by a washer once: my laundry was sopping wet after the cycle and the machine leaked water everywhere. $ 2.75 washer — the one with its blue painted floor damaged in front of it. Cost me another $ 2.75 for that load. It’s the time cost that is a pisser.
Yes: it’s clean, has natural light, free wi-​fi. Nearby Progressive Grounds is great for food, drinks and restroom.
I feel like I don’t have much of a choice, except this laundromat. The one down the street is always FULL. I would be sad if it closed. But I’d sure wish the signs on the out of order machines — meant what it says: «This machine is temporarily out of order. This machine will be serviced soon.»
Define «soon“please. And yes, I waited to use machine the day of doing the same load of laundry twice. A double whammy in my time.
Yes: no stains from grease/​oil on my clothes. A big plus… you gotta wonder when so many washers are broke. I’d rather have clean clothes than see more machines in order, yet dumping grease or overflowing.
I wish the owner cared about this place, as much as I do.

The only thing I like about this place is that I always have the whole place to myself. But that could mean something bad as well. The place is small 20 some odd washers and about half of them are broken. There is a sign that says do not use the normal amount of soap your clothes will come out soapy. Does that not seem strange? This place also could use a cosmetic make over to bring in business

This is a laundromat. Not much else to say about it.

Bernal Bubbles is pretty great, as far as laundromats go. When I go to a laundromat, my major goals are to get out of there as quickly as possible, and to not completely waste my time while I’m there. This place is great for both. My clothes get clean, the machines work quickly, and they have WiFi. It’s also on a great block with coffee right across the street. I carry my laundry up the hill to go here, and that’s saying a lot.

This is a nice laundry mat, its always clean and the lady who works there is very helpful. The change machine always works for me. There’s parking on the street and coffee and bookstores close by. I can’t stand the radio station and the speaker system, I wish it wasn’t playing on weekend mornings when nobody is working there. Quiet is nice over that static noise and shitty pop music. Other than that the place is great.

Over a month later, and still haven’t gotten a refund of the money I tossed into the malfunctioning Mega Wash!

Coffee close by and a used book store for when you don’t want to sit and watch your clothes spin around (although I kind of like spacing out watching my clothes spin around).

I have laundry machines at my house, but I don’t like to wash my comfroters and blankets at home because they are way to fluffy and big for my own washing machine so I come here to do it. Although there is a closer laundromat to my house I prefer this one because the one by my house gives me the creeps. This one doesn’t though :) Everytime I’ve come it has been pretty empty, which I like (I like being alone sometimes). It’s clean and omg sometimes there is free soap in the vending machines! I do my laundry pretty quickly here, mostly becasue there is no waiting for machines to empty up. They also have posting boards where you can find lots of information. Need an apartment? Check here. How about some writing classes? Yep here too. And there’s plenty of things to do while you wait for your clothes to be ready, café’s, grocery store, manicure, you name it. AND there is plenty of parking on the street.

Clean, functioning, friendly — what else could you ask for in a laundromat? Oh, right, free WiFi and ½ price dryers on Wednesday! Excellent.
I met the owner the other day while he was emptying coin bins. He was friendly and kind and made a point of asking my name and shaking my hand. It seems like a little thing, but it made me feel like my $ 10/​week worth of business was worth something to him.
Ofelia, who does the wash and fold, is a sweet lady who does her job well. When I can afford it I leave my dirty stuff with her and not even 24 hours later she returns it all soft and folded better than Mama used to make.

A clean, well lit place to do your laundry. Kinda small inside, but you learn how to dance around other custies when it is full.
Wednesdays rule, because the dryers are ½ price. Sometimes this means it gets a little craaaazy busy in there, but it is totally worth it. $ 1.00 for 40 minutes of drying time is fantastic. They also offer ‘Free Soap’ Tuesdays, free Wi-​Fi and a ‘lost sock’ board (helpful and hilarious).

This was my laundromat of choice when I used to live in Bernal. I was at the bottom near Mission and willing to go up the hill to do my wash. That’s gotta say something. There was even a laundromat around the corner closer to my apartment too. But at Bernal Bubbles, I really appreciated the free WIFI. I would just bring my laptop and do what I do (I wont tell you what that is), and the whole clothes washing experience would be done-​lickety split. I think the price was more pricier (thus only 4 stars) than the one closer to home, but I felt more comfortable with the equipment, location, and amenities at BB. Parking could be an issue but I always seemed to be able to find parking in front, or around the corner. Progressive Grounds coffee shop across the street is an added bonus if you need a cup of joe or a snack.

Bernal Bubbles is a tidy, clean, well lit laundry mat. It is really nice to go to a laundry mat where the washers and dryers are clean. I also really like the wash and fold. The women who washes and folds my clothes does an excellent job. The owner also keeps this place in tip top shape. I would totally recommend this place to anyone who wants to go to a clean, nice, and reasonably priced laundry mat.

This place rules as far as wash and fold (I haven’t used any of their other services). The prices are decent. I can drop off my laundry anytime of the day, although the attendant is not there and not worry about it being stolen. The attendant is wonderful. They do a great job. And it’s ALWAYS done by the next evening. Open late. Clean. Easy to park at. What more can I say? I moved further away, yet still plan to continue going here even if it takes a bit of extra driving. I’ve had all my clothes, sheets, pillowcases, blankets, etc. washed here once all at once and it was decently priced and still next day turnaround. The best!

I am so happy with Bernal Bubbles! The store is really cute and clean. If I was planning to do my laundry myself and hang out at a laundry mat… this would be the place to do it.
Last night we dropped off our laundry around 5. The lady working there was super friendly and said she’d call when she was done and that she would finish by 10! She didn’t call, but we dropped back by around 9:45p on our way home and we had perfectly folded, clean laundry! And, we only paid $ 13.50. They only charge $.75 per lb of laundry.
Great service, we’ll definitly use this again! I really recommend it!

I like Bernal Bubbles for its proximity to my home, the free wifi and the take a sock/​leave a sock board.
BUT – I wasn’t jazzed when they put in the video game machine, because the same weird kid would show up, lie on the counter and chirp, «Happy New Year,» whenever anyone walked by. I yelled at him once for smoking in the l’mat and he promptly ran away.
Maybe he just wanted to be my friend, but I just wanted to do my laundry.

I was very upset when Angel Wash disappeared from this location, but in its place came laudromat heaven: Bernal Bubbles! Now it has free wi-​fi, is open longer (7am to 10pm), and is a lot cleaner (they even have a bulletin board for lost clothing). Plus, they were nice enough to re-​hire the señora who works there who is super helpful. Yay!
