I am so grateful for the love that went into creating this gorgeous bread! Every time I buy some my family tries to sneak some to make some of the best toast. I scream, «THAT’S MINEFOOL!!, TOUCHITANDDIE!»

Gf sourdough bread!!! Every part of my heart feels warm with love. I got my first loaf this weekend from a supermarket in SF. I was skeptical to spend almost $ 11 for a small loaf of bread, but given that I haven’t had sourdough in almost 2years, I thought I would give it a try. Not sure if the price is completely right for it, but I did enjoy it. It doesn’t taste exactly like the sourdough I grew up with, but it’s pretty damn close. It really is a great alternative to not eating any sourdough at all. I plan on buying this again next time I come home to California with more recipes in mind so I can better utilize it. I think I just got excited to buy it, that I didn’t have soups or deli meats to do anything with the bread. So happy to see the gf scene expand and not have a majority of it taste like cardboard.

10⁄10 as far as GF bread goes, and really it’s just good either way!

Best gluten-free, allergen-free bread I have ever had(and I’ve had many). I have tons of food sensitivities, so I got the bread cubes to make my own stuffing for Thanksgiving. It was a huge success! My family members kept saying it was better than the«regular» stuffing we’d gotten from the store. I’ve also bought the sourdough loaf and it’s fluffy and tasty and just overall delicious. I’m a big fan!

Just toast their sourdough bread and it’s like heaven in your mouth. I missed sourdough bread once I realized I couldn’t eat gluten anymore, and breadsrsly allowed me to indulge in sourdough again!

I just ate not one, not two, but three sourdough dinner rolls as a bedtime snack. Because they are that good. I’m not regularly gluten free, but have a sensitive gut, so I’ve tasted my way through a lot of GF products while figuring out my intolerances. These rolls are one of the only things I’d buy and eat regularly as a non GF consumer. At first glance, they looked underdone or par-baked. Label did say better toasted but didn’t note they were par-baked. The texture is perfect. Light, bubbly, somewhat chewy, with a crust but not too heavy or crispy. Very sourdough flavor. I found the one I ate as is had a little bitter aftertaste, but I tend to pick up a lot of bitter or metallic that other people don’t. My 7 yo thought they were great and ate two, and my little one(who won’t eat fruit skins and«hates this» for 75% of what I serve her) ate half, so I’m going with not bitter to any normal person. I split and toasted one later and it was delish… so delish that I ate two more immediately. Psyched my CSA(farmigo delivery to Palo Alto) has them and will definitely get more.

This is the first gluten-free sourdough I’ve ever seen. I’ve been hoping someone would do this for a while– and I’m really excited about it, because this stuff is srsly delicious! I found it in the refrigerated section of the bread isle at Molly Stones in Greenbrae. Thank you to the people at Bread Srsly for making this dream come true!

I’ve been looking for a great gluten free sourdough. I love sourdough, but wheat and gluten I no longer get along. I just tried my first slices and was stunned and how great the taste of your bread is. You’ve hit it out of the park. You may or may not know this, but wheat and gluten are a much bigger problem than people realize. The book the Grain Brain by Dr Perlmutter lays it out. I don’t have celiac, but I have done much better since dropping wheat and gluten from my diet.

I am about to cry tears of joy. I was diagnosed with celiac disease a little over four years ago. I was able to make peace with not eating my old favorites with gluten. The one thing I could not move past with sourdough bread. It was painful to walk by the fresh bread in the market and I have been on the search for gluten-free sourdough bread since diagnosis. Yesterday I picked up a loaf of the bread and really didn’t pay much attention to it, figuring it was going to be like all the others… Just okay. When I pulled it out of the package I knew right away it was different you could smell the sourdough. I cut into it and it was moist and then toasted it like it suggested. I put some butter on it and HEAVEN. It was what I’ve been dreaming of for 4 years. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I’ve tried every gf vegan bread out there(available to me in South Florida) and nothing compares to Bread Srsly!!! Not only was shipping extremely reasonable, but it was delivered on time AND fresh. I followed the directions and put the loaves right in the fridge for 24 hours. This bread is the closest thing I’ve had to actual Sourdough, and without a doubt, worth every penny. I would recommend this to anyone. No matter where you live, gf or not, order Bread Srsly!!!
Sadie, you’re doing an amazing job! Keep up the good work and keep pumpin’ out that bread!

We have Celiac disease so we’re always on the lookout for a new bread. My wife recently discovered Breadsrsly at Staff of Life in Santa Cruz and brought it home. I hadn’t had sourdough bread in 15 years and was thrilled to be able to eat it again. My daughter, who had never had sourdough bread, thought it was fantastic. We had it toasted with butter and honey. We plan on trying it next time in the iron skillet as they have pictured on their site. Since then, we’ve also had the variant with Kale, and it was delicious as well.

I discovered Bread SRSLY while vacationing in San Francisco this summer. My first bite was a WOW, I could eat the entire loaf. I almost did because I discovered I can order the rolls and bread and have them delivered home in Kalamazoo. Even if someone is not gluten free they will love this bread. The bread needs to be refrigerated for a day before slicing and put in the freezer. It freezes well. The dinner rolls make the best garlic bread ever. Dinner guest who are not GF love them. Thank you Sadie.

I was diagnosed with celiac disease before it was cool. For years and years I’ve searched high and low for GF sourdough bread and wham — we found Miss Sadie and her wonderful bread. I can’t live without it. I’ve recently lowered by carbs(to get ready for my wedding) and all I think about is this damn bread. This damn good bread. Yum. Oh, we order via goodeggs…

Wonderful gluten-free sourdough! I was getting frustrated with the GF options for bread, nothing was perfect. Mariposa has that weird bean taste, some of the Udi’s have weird texture. I just wanted normal bread! I saw this bread at Rainbow market and passed it by for weeks because it was $ 9 a loaf which seemed way too expensive, but now I get it. I have found a handful of other places to buy this bread in SF or on although it does sell out quickly. I feel really blessed to be able to have access to this gluten-free artistry.

When you go to a place that has a consortium of bakers with a friend who has a serious gluten allergy, there’s generally a lot of sadness on their part. Luckily we showed up and Bread Srsly was representing. Got to sample some small chocolate desserts which were pretty tasty. Though they were surrounded by carrot cake and lemon tarts and the such my friend at least had one choice as I sampled pretty much all… Now my friend has another source of great gluten free selections to choose from

I absolutely love Bread Srsly! I first ordered a loaf from Sadie back in 2011. I picked it up at her house(we lived in the same neighborhood) and she was so friendly! Since that day I fell in love with all of her delicious treats! I’ve purchased her bread at the Haight Street Market, Bi-Rite, Rainbow, and through Good Eggs. Everything is amazing! I love her sourdough, muffins, cookies, pie, etc. I now live in Marin and I wish I that her loafs were available at more grocery stores or farmers markets. I would also love it if she taught some baking classes. I try and bake gluten-free, but nothing ever comes out as good as when Sadie makes it! I highly recommend trying Bread Srsly. She uses local ingredients and everything is gluten-free and vegan. I love supporting small businesses, especially when the owner is friendly as Sadie!

This is a review for the sourdough loaf. This week, I went into Earthbeam to try and figure out some sort of stuffing and dinner rolls for thanksgiving. Admittedly I don’t eat really any baked goods of any kind, I didn’t like them much before I figured out my body wasn’t into them either. Except sourdough. Not just any sourdough, though, because if it comes in a plastic bag, it’s shit. But, I could easily eat an entire freshly baked loaf of real, crunchy outside, chewy inside sourdough. Something I haven’t done for years. :( Spotting the Bread Srsly brown paper bag on the refrigerated shelf, I let out an audible gasp, snatched up the loaf, marched to the register and demanded to know«is this any good!?» Cashier replied, «it’s delicious» and I threatened«DON’T TOYWITHME, LADY» She assured me it was best sliced up and toasted, and worth every cent of its cost. The minute I got home that night I sliced off two pieces for the toaster and fried up two over easy eggs. Next, I stood in the kitchen jamming warm sourdough eggy toastiness in my face like an animal. My partner claims I growled when he approached. It’s now Friday and I have eaten eggs and sourdough toast for breakfast and dinner every day. I sought out another loaf at the gluten free grocery today for croutons for my stuffing, and I will probably need at least one more loaf before Tday for my insatiable sourdough cravings I’ve been suppressing all these years. It really tastes like real sourdough bread! It slices beautifully and has fantastic texture! And it’s so minimal in ingredients.

First discovered this bread at the GFAF expo, and absolutely loved it. But just this weekend I was finally able to pick up some at the Bi-Rite Market in San Francisco. Pros: Gluten Free! and Vegan! Perfect for my allergies! Tastes like sourdough it really is amazing! Cons: Not convenient to get at all :/I live in the east bay, and there are no pick up locations even relatively close to me, and no delivery to Dublin. I would give it 5 stars it there was a better way for me to be able to get some. I had the bread the first time with some split pea soup! It was so tasty! If you have a chance to get some of this bread I definitely recommend getting some! I would love to try her cinnamon rolls one of these days also.

The highlight of my Thanksgiving break thus far — outside of some epic hula-hooping at Hippie Hill was Bread Srsly’s moist bread loaves. If you have a gluten issue — don’t settle for that lackluster bread stuff you find at most grocery stores that are full of bizarre ingredients and often come frozen. Yuck. Don’t do it. Just go for Bread Srsly and you will be blown away by the local and organic ingredients which go into each batch of bread that Sadie makes. Her creativity when it comes to ingredients is dazzling and she’s committed to making sure that she connects with awesome local farmers to source many of her ingredients. I cannot wait to try more of her wholesome healthy bread and would love to try her muffins as well. I feel so blessed today to have people like Sadie — spreading gluten-free goodness throughout San Francisco. And just a heads up that I found that her bread tasted best when heated up and paired with some wondrous condiments. Trust.
