Brown Paper Design

Wow! I was worried about the florals for our October 2013 wedding — not because of anything Danielle did (to the contrary, every discussion with her was easy and professional), but only because we were planning a destination wedding in California from Philadelphia and I couldn’t see the mock-​up in person and Danielle was restricted to flowers grown on the venue’s farm. But, my gosh, there was no need to worry at all. Every last detail was executed to absolute perfection. Even things I only mentioned offhand were there and were divine. Our florals were lush, and full, and romantic — like A Midsummer Night’s Dream — interspersed with coordinating local fruit. Every penny spent was well earned. BPD also custom designed our gorgeous draping. It was better than we’d hoped for. We wish BPD nothing but continued success.

Where to begin… As the newest team member of Alison Events Planning and Design I have had the pleasure of working with Danielle and her team on multiple events and each time I am blown away but her creativity, her eye for design, patience and professionalism. Danielle looks at every job with fresh eyes, gets to know our clients and works quickly to create the most memorable events anyone can ask for. Her approach is calm and she takes the time to get to know each client likes, dislikes and most importantly always finds ways to save the client money! We are extremely lucky to work with Brown Paper Design as often as we do and you will love working with her too!

I thank my lucky stars that I found Danielle. I fell in love with her work the minute I saw her portfolio. At first I thought she only covered LA, but to my delight, I realized she did weddings in SF as well!
Danielle is not only a great floral designer but has holistic artistic vision. I didn’t have a planner/​designer, and with Danielle I didn’t need one. I gave her photos of my design inspiration, flowers I liked, and decoration details, and she helped me pull my thoughts together. She gave me recommendations on things I could buy/​rent (she found our linens and dinner chairs, and told me about demijohns), and gave me great advice on the overall décor (including exercising restraint!).
I loved loved loved our flowers. She took my ideas, and took them much further, pulling together a cohesive look that was still fresh. Our wedding made it into Style Me Pretty’s Best of 2012, and Danielle deserves a lot of the credit!
