I have done a lot of research before making an appointment with dr.brownstein. and a large # of people remark on his bedside manner as being non existent at best. I really don’t know what they are talking about. I think he’s very professional, sweet and funny maybe a bit shy. He made me feel very well taken care of. His office support staff is great. The surgery staff are very sweet and efficient. Anestisiologist dr. ellis is amaizing too! Great professionals and very nice people. Thank you all so much! Top surgery is a huge deal to a lot of us. And dr. brownstein along with his staff made it incredibly eazy for me Have stitches coming out on Wednesday ! Wrote this right after the surgery and couldn’t post from phone at the time. It’s been 10 months and I’m well, feeling great and happier everyday. Grafts took and look really well! Scars are getting lighter and slimmer. Thank you, so much! Jet

If you need top surgery and live in the Bay Area, this is your man. Not super friendly and squishy, which is fine with me but definitely could put others off. Bedside manner wasn’t the #1 thing here for me. I wanted a surgeon with a great rep who could do a great job. That’s what I got. Annoying that he doesn’t take cc’s only cashiers checks, but that’s whatevs. He does a beautiful job. I am forever endeared to him b/c he had to cut an area where I have the centerpiece to my chest tattoo, and told me in advance that it would be messed up and need to be repaired. Instead, as I slept, he took the time to make incisions and then close incisions in a way that will not require restoration on the tattoo. I didn’t ask him to do that, he just did it b/c he knew it would make me happy. Also he has a cute Wiener dog. And wieners are super bad asses. It definitely makes an office visit more enjoyable when you get to kick it with a wiener.
