Decent food and prices. Large dining area with a view of either Van Ness Avenue or a large screen tv inside the dining area. Service is okay. Expected street people inside the restaurant from time to time. No problems eating my lunch and leaving fast.

I went through their drive-thru on 3÷30÷2016 and the host Mai Tuyet is really rude and screams at the customer. She does not need to work the drive-thru window. She got upset because I complained that my burger’s meat was burnt and it was cold. She started yelling and the manager came over and he was no better. I told him that he might want to tell her to calm down and not talk to the customer in the manner in which she was talking to me. He put a frown on his face, he asked if I wanted my money back and I told him no. I told him that I wanted my burger hot with mayonnaise & no mustard. I don’t know if he had them heat the burger up that I gave back or made a new one but he did do that much which ever one it was. I then asked for my receipt and Mai yelled, «I gave it to you,» I told the manager that she did not. He got me the receipt and I told him one again to tell Mai to calm down. He slammed the window closed once he gave me the receipt. Neither one of them needs to be employed there. I am writing this review because I have called their corporate office that deals with this location twice. Apparently my calls did not do any good because they keep hiring the same type of people who treat their customer(s) rudely. I’m forced to give them a one, but they do not deserve a one. Their conduct was totally ridiculous. Get it together Burger King…

I used the drive thur the worker was talking really fast almost as if she was rushing me and I couldn’t understand her and sound like she didn’t care about what I was saying while placing my order. My burger was NOT hot at all 5 seconds away from being cold and the cheese was not melted wtf! Now the fries off the hook nice and hot maybe because I ask for no salt you get two stars for the fries. Burger King you really let me down.

I’ve never had any issues here. I’ve always received the same service as any Burger King I’ve been to. $ 1.50 for 10 chicken nuggets is a hell of a deal. Not the greatest part of town perhaps, but I don’t come here to be surrounded by awesome people.

Fast food places are take-outs. For fun. You don’t want to wine&dine there on your date night or honeymooning. Like all their burgers especially their Double. For that area/location, expect trouble. Whatever happened to the self-assigned homeless doorman? Welcoming me back? No thanks. Bath time for you.

By far nothing I can say will excuse me. This is CRAP nothing more nothing less. I have to say I am a fan of the whopper & always have been, but in the last year after seeing the messed up customer service in San Francisco & a man(manger or higher up) take a stack of already cooked beef patties inside a Burger King as I was walking out, that sealed the deal for me… Now I will always love there breakfast ALWAYS, but this year me & «Burger King» have been at odds

the burgers are preheated in a microwave, they come out fast but don’t taste good place could be cleaner and service could be faster they charge more than other burger kings, they had the value menu screen turned off so you could not order from it, the soda was double the price of another burgerking place and no free refils,(before they gave them to you) I would give this place a miss

Horrible service today. Went in for a burger but left without ordering. A woman in front of me asked for new fries cuz the worker got his hands all over them. He got all argumentative with her. Unprofessional! So I left and proceeded to call to speak to the manager. I called several times and it rang like 30 times each! Finally that kid answered and said«ain’t no manager, leave a message.» I basically called him out on his attitude and behavior. He hung up and then proceeds to call ME back several times. Yeah, calls to harass me cuz he’s a lousy worker. I’ll just complain to corporate now. If you’re wondering, it was a kid with a SF tattoo on his arm. Nice to know BK hires lousy workers.

It’s always a mistake to not eat breakfast. This is what I’m thinking to myself when I dashed out of the house and to work. My bigger mistake was going to this Burger King for breakfast. I ordered a #3, egg/sausage muffin, tater tots and iced tea since I don’t like coffee. The cost for a #3 meal is listed as $ 4.69, fair enough. The cashier, who I had to repeat my order several times, says to me my bill is $ 5.96. Thinking there is a mistake, I ask why my bill is higher. I’m being charged $ 1.49 for the iced tea. I said you could swap hot tea for iced tea. «We don’t have hot tea, only coffee.» And you wont’ make this substitution? «No.» Not«No, we’re sorry,», just ‘No.” OK, I get it. You probably don’t get repeat customers, so why be polite? Oh yes, do yell at the homeless man searching through the trash for food. He stopped for a moment, but then kept on searching. As I write this review, I’m realize I should have bought him breakfast, even if it was from surly staff and the food is just OK.

Don’t go here. Especially if you’re a person of Color. The staff here is RACIST. There, I said it. The anemic Asian lady at the Drive-Thru window demanded that my fiancé who was on her 30 minute lunch break show her I.D. My fiancé left her CA I.D. in her purse, which was at her job site 10 minutes away. I then went on to show the lady an alternate form of identification for my fiancé. Mind you, the form of identification had a small thumbnail and her name on it. The Asian lady refused the identification and threw the cards back to us. I’ve been to many other Burger Kings and never received this type of treatment. I felt that the lady in the window’s perception on minorites is twisted, and wanted her to know we are all not thieves. This incident caused my fiancé to have to rush back to her job site in fear of being tardy. My fiancé ended up only drinking a water bottle and went back to work running off fumes. (P.S. I am of Haitian decent and my fiancé is Latina American)

This has had to be the worse experience ever at a BK went to the drive thru on dec 12,2014 for some food around 9am and there was a Latin lady on the mic that was extremely rude and had no notion of customer service to top it all off she couldn’t speak English that well and every time I couldn’t understand her she started yelling and getting even more rude with me when I finally got to the window she snatched my card out of my hand then when she came with the food she basically threw it at me I was very upset then the last topping to the experience when I opened my food it was very poorly prepared and cold looked like it had been sitting for a while not cool I won’t eat here again in some time till they fix their customer service and food quality. What a waste of money and time.

Heads Up Troops… I guess the gods @ BK heard my plea here because this store is temporarily closed for a remodel. I’m just guessing since the BK on Powell was closed after a fire for a remodel too. In any event when I went by today and saw no homeless camped there I wondered why, and the reason is they are closed. IF you need a BK fix downtown know both Van Ness and Powell are temporatily closed.

The«chicken» sandwich is made from grinded up bone, blood, muscles,& who knows whatever else they put in this dog patty… I never write reviews but its imperative to inform y’all of this disaster. BK should be ashamed!!!
