C2 Education of West Portal

I had a great experience at C2! Within a short period of time, I was able to raise my SAT score. My tutors for AP Chemistry and AP Calculus were also extremely helpful. They provided me homework that helped me practice my knowledge and further my education on different subjects. The classes are also small, 3 students with 1 teacher, which I like because the teacher pays attention to each student. I am now a freshman in college who is majoring in chemistry and I can say that I am grateful that C2 prepared me well and contributed immensely on assisting my education.

I never used this service but my experience with applying for employment here has been way below satisfactory. I took a 2 hour assessment in an incredibly noisy setting and have never even heard back about the results. I feel like it was a colossal waste of time in addition to a lack of professionalism.

Our son has been a student at the C2 Educational Center on West Portal in San Francisco for the last two years. We initially signed up to get help on math and bring other grades up for school. The extra practice and help at C2 enabled our son to stay on top of his class and be a very confident math student with deep understanding of the concepts covered at school. C2 also helped our son to get ready for the SSAT test. In less than 6 months, his score on the SSAT practice tests started to raise up and earlier this month we have received the official scores that we are very happy to submit to all the high schools that our son is applying to. Teresia and Katrina were a tremendous help to us throughout the whole process. The unmatched counseling and support that our son received from the staff members at the Center was above any expectations. I believe that if it were not for C2, we would not have been looking at the high schools we are looking at now. During summer our son also attended the Summer Critical Reading and Writing 5-​week program at C2 Educational Center. It was an enrichment type of camp program where the students had to read books and practice writing essays. Our son really enjoyed this summer camp program and felt that this experience at C2 helped him to be a better writer and reader, as well as become an organized student who is able to prioritize and manage his workload. Initially, our son was not very enthusiastic about attending any extra-​curriculum academic classes and he felt it would be a challenge. Only a few months later, with a lot of encouragement from Teresia and her persistent following up on our son’s progress, we were able to see major improvements. Our son started asking me if he could go to the Center every day. He really appreciates the extra help he is getting at C2 and grew very much accustomed to studying at the center 3 times a week and is always looking forward to the next class there. This has been a very positive experience for us and we are very lucky to have this amazing educational center in our neighborhood! Thank you, C2!
