I felt like I needed to counter the bad review of this place with a favorable one. If not for this café, and Theresa who happily restocks the tea and runs the show, I would have flunked out my first semester. Yeah, the prices suck. But if you pay with your student ID, it’s tax free. The selection has improved over the last year– they now are more convenient than ever– with dayquil and pencils and chapstick and pencil sharpeners, as well as your run of the mill café-stuff– tea, coffee, soda, bagels & spreads, other pastries, soups, pre-made entrees and sandwiches, Odwalla Superfood, the occasional breakfast burrito or english muffin sandwich… I have probably spent upwards of $ 500 on two years of enrollment. I don’t know it’s «worth it,» but it has definitely been essential.

I agree with Allison — there are some great benefits to this place. First, Theresa is great, she lets you take spoons and cups and other supplies. Second, the selection is pretty good for, essentially, a small closet. However, the coffee does taste kinda like butt the more and more I drink. The prices are crazy, but I guess that comes with the convenience of supplying a closet with food stuffs.

This is the snack shop within USF’s Law School. It’s really small; it’s got a really limited selection; its limited selection quickly becomes even more limited because everyone takes the few things that are good early, and it’s ridiculously overpriced. Little bottles of soda(Coke products only, sadly) will cost you $ 1.93 here. If you walk about twenty-five feet to one of the vending machines, the same soda costs $ 1.25. Unfortunately, they only have soda vending machines, so if you want to buy candy, you’ll have to suffer Café Kendrick’s serial fleecing.
