I’m a regular here. Been cashing here since 2007 and don’t ever remember having a negative experience. I’d rather go here than the other check cashing places downtown. It’s a cleaner place to do business and hardly ever a long line.

I’d given a 5^th but unfortunately I needed to speak with woman who has absolutely no tact! I’m not going into all the details but her last words to me were” you will be suffering the consequence” OH PLEASE!
On the other hand Shane the store mgr handled the situation with the up most professionalism.

These people are nothing but a bunch of thugs. I had taken out a payday loan in 2007 and subsequently went on disability. I paid half of what I owed and then fell behind. I went back in and tried to set up a payment plan and they said it was to late the matter had been sent over to a collection agency. They collection agency called me and told me that unless I pay the full amount I was going to be arrested for fraud since the check I gave them could not be cashed. They said that they have someone waiting to serve me papers. They have had over 10 companies call me with that story. I have said repeatedly that I cannot pay the whole amount but can make monthly payments. One guy said to me «I guess you’re sucking off of disability until you die of AIDS» then started laughing at me. He then went on to say that «we hate dealing with people in San Francisco because we never know when they are going to die of AIDS.» This guy had all of my information and scared the hell out of me. I have received numerous calls from other agencies stating that I’m going to jail for not paying these loans back. These people are nothing but thugs and threaten you to scare you. The frustrating part of this whole thing is I tried many times to work it out with them. Beware, and think twice before you deal with them.

Looked sketchy at first but the guy was really helpful and nice. Went very fast, only two minutes and it was my first time at a check cashing place. Cost me exactly $ 27 on a $ 600 check.

I cash here all the time. It is a bit pricey but the convenience can’t be beat. Once you have an account you do not need your id to cash. They have a key punch that allows you to verify your identity without an id.
The people are friendly and personable even when something goes wrong. I recently cashed a check that bounced, they were great and non-​judgemental.
I mentioned that it was pricey. it’s about $ 7 to cash a $ 250 payroll check.
