Calmoon Bakery cookies are excellent. Be aware that they aren’t very sweet and are very dense. I like cookies a lot, but I feel sort of ill after eating too many cookies with sugar as the first ingredient. These cookies don’t give you a sugar high, they just taste good, and are satisfying enough that it’s highly unlikely you’ll go on a cookie binge. They are gluten free and vegan and made with brown rice flour as the first ingredient. I give the cookies 5 stars. However, I have no idea whether or not this location of the bakery in the Mission even exists. Like the previous reviewer I buy the cookies at the grocery store. It would be cool if there was a walk in bakery location — I would go check it out. Anyone actually been there?

I can not eaten gluten, corn, soy, or chocolate and am often in search of treats that won’t hurt me. I bought some of Calmoon Bakery’s rice cookies at Rainbow(Azuki-Walnut) and they are good. They are dense(and therefore filling), not too sweet, and hold together when you bite them. This is not always true for gluten-free fare! They are very satisfying if you want a cookie and can’t eat the«normal» kind. I’m going to try other flavors.
