I’ve worked with Robert and the CMG crew on a couple projects in the last couple of years — one in Ross and one in Berkeley. As a subcontractor, the aspects we favor most in working for general contractors are preparedness, professionalism, consistency and support. I think these traits are certainly favorable to find in a general contractor for homeowners as well so there’s some value in seeing a perspective as seen from a position other than that of the homeowner or client.
Robert and company are thorough, fair and paved the way for us to do our job as best as we can, accommodating our needs as they arose and I saw them work well with all the other subs and both projects I worked on turned out awesome with great final results.
I’d work for them again.
