Tried to go here while walking my dog. I thought a sandwich or ice cream might be great. BUT the Yerba Buena vice squad forbade my crossing concrete to go to the stand. As I didn’t have a surveyor handy to debate whether or not I was on sidewalk or not I had to go spend $ 25.00 at La Boulange. I recommend management ask YB to stop being a bunch of fascists.

Round and round. First time around: Second time around: Name fitting for being located next to a newly renovated( ) neighbor. Caffeine, sandwiches and crêpes dominate the menu including a very good ratatouille and spinach panini. Goat cheese, pesto and an olive tapenade come standard too. Friendly gentleman running the place assured me foccaccia would taste much better than wheat. Surprisingly light amount of oil left me happy to have taken the recommendation. Lunch came to a little over $ 9 after tax which keeps things in three star territory. Wouldn’t be surprised with both good food and good service Carousel Café will stick around.
