I went to an amazing class through Chow SF @ Feve over the weekend with my tween(yes, parents still do activities with 14-year-olds) & had 3 hours of fun that can only be labeled«chocoholic euphoria»! The Carmel and Chocolate Confection class with Shawn Williams was relaxed, insightful, engaging and hands-on fun. I highly recommend this as a family activity if you have a child who loves confections, as well as a great activity for couples or any foodie. The amount of chocolates for tasting was beyond expectations and the chocolate enrobed toffee and candied almonds that we made were a big hit with friends that we shared our goodies with. We, selfishly, did need to save some for ourselves.. . I loved this so much that I am signing up for the Salted Carmel Demonstration with Shawn Williams(and yes, the tween is also coming). I also purchased the 9 piece and 18 piece box as gifts for an upcoming event. I think the recipients will be pleasantly surprised at these chocolate treasures.

I had taken the Caramel and Chocolate Confections class on 2÷7÷15 with Shawn Williams. I went alone and it was my first time taking this type of class. I had a great time learning and eating. Shawn made the skills look so easy to do at home and everything we made tasted amazing. It was an intimate setting to learn and meet other people. The staff was professional and very friendly. I highly encourage others to take the class. It is definitely worth it, especially with all the goodies you get to take home. :)

I took their Hitchcock + Chow tour and it was fascinating. The combination of walking, eating and Hitchcock is awesome. Highly recommend.

I took a chocolate class with Chow SF and it was fantastic. The instructor was an actual chocolatier who was super knowledgeable and great at breaking down the process of making truffles and caramel — I might even actually be able to do it myself now(stay tuned!) I have taken a few cooking classes at other companies and I liked that this one was really focussed on the specific thing I wanted to learn. Will be back for more.
